The attempt. The repetition. The small action you almost talked yourself out of. That is where behavior starts to change. This applies to everything. Fitness. Business. Leadership. Parenting. Relationships. Your own habits. You do not build consistency by shaming yourself into being better. You build it by reinforcing the actions that move you in the right direction. Because your brain needs evidence that the effort is worth repeating. So make the small win count. Put the shoes on. Make the call. Send the follow-up. Have the conversation. Do the one rep. Then do it again tomorrow. That is how you train behavior. That is how you build momentum. That is how you become the person who actually follows through.
