Lead out. Responsibility in. Lead-free brass is no longer just a "nice-to-have": the new EU Drinking Water Directive introduces stricter limits starting at the end of 2026. The transition won't happen overnight, but it is possible. With our ecoline family, we offer alloys that come as close as possible to the proven performance of leaded brass, even without lead as a machining-enabling element. We won't claim that switching to lead-free brass is easy. But we know it's achievable if you act early and have the right partner at your side. With our in-depth materials expertise, we support you through the transformation, work together to develop future-proof solutions, and help you turn regulatory requirements into opportunities ahead of time. Our global network supports customers from end to end, driving a holistic approach along the whole value chain. Let's go lead-free! To learn more about machining lead-free brass, including different perspectives from INDEX, Paul Horn GmbH and Walter Tools check out the latest article on fertigung.de or contact christian.erb@wieland.com for further questions. How do you ensure every batch starts the same? It begins with accurate ingredient handling. Even the smallest variations in weighing and dosing can impact product quality, increase waste, and create unnecessary rework. That's why precision at the front end of the process is so important. Volkmann's Weighing & Dosing Systems are engineered to deliver accurate, repeatable ingredient handling throughout production, helping manufacturers improve batch consistency while integrating seamlessly into automated processes. Learn more: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/e6edPPRz Key benefits include: ✔️ Continuous material feed ✔️ Accuracy up to 1 gram (application dependent) ✔️ Repeatable weighing and dosing ✔️ Improved batch consistency ✔️ Gentle product handling ✔️ Easy cleaning and sanitary design ✔️ Suitable for hazardous (EX) areas ✔️ Low wear and low noise operation ✔️ Product contact surfaces available in AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel ✔️ Easy integration into automated production lines Consistent production doesn't begin in the mixer, it starts with precise ingredient handling. By reducing variation before production begins, manufacturers can improve product quality, reduce waste, and increase process efficiency. If you're looking to improve recipe accuracy, batch consistency, or your overall powder handling process, we'd be happy to discuss your application. Feel free to send me a direct message here on LinkedIn, email us at contact@volkmannusa.com, or contact us through our website: https://lnkd.in/eR4TXjrE. 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵. In industrial vacuum applications, the word dust is often too generic. Fine powders. Metal chips. Composite materials. Food ingredients. Abrasive residues. Each one behaves differently. Each one requires 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Choosing the right industrial vacuum does not start with a catalogue. It starts with understanding the application. Watching production lines switch between different barrel and bottle sizes used to remind me how much time was lost during every changeover. ⚙️ After seeing a tracking capping machine synchronize with moving containers instead of stopping them, it became clear that flexible automation is no longer just about speed—it's about reducing interruptions, maintaining consistency, and giving operators a simpler workflow. 🚀 ✅ No barrel blocking or jamming required, with quick spacing and height adjustment for different barrel diameters, bottle heights, and cap sizes. ✅ Servo-driven tracking capping delivers precise positioning while synchronizing with container movement, improving production rhythm and batch consistency. ✅ Simple operation, reliable mechanical design, reduced manual intervention, lower maintenance requirements, and compatibility with chemical, coatings, lubricant, and food packaging lines. 🏭 Frequent product changeovers no longer have to slow production. A tracking capping system that automatically follows each container while adapting to multiple package sizes helps manufacturers move toward flexible, digital production without adding unnecessary complexity. 💡 I'm always interested in seeing how different factories solve multi-size packaging challenges—what has been the biggest bottleneck on your filling or capping line? 🚨 The Most Dangerous Word in Manufacturing: "NORMAL." Every factory has heard it. "It's normal." "We've always done it this way." "Don't worry, it happens." This mindset silently destroys profitability. A little paper waste becomes normal. A few minutes of downtime become normal. Quality defects become normal. Machine inefficiencies become normal. Over time, these "small" losses become the biggest cost to the business. The world's best manufacturing plants don't accept "normal." They question it. They measure it. They improve it. Because every major improvement begins with one simple question: "Why are we accepting this as normal?" At Corrugator Pro Consultancy Services (Micro Edge Engineering), we help corrugated box manufacturers transform their operations through expert consultancy, plant installation & commissioning, process optimization, production improvement, technical training, quality control, and cost-saving solutions. Our mission is simple: Turn hidden losses into measurable profits by building world-class manufacturing systems. The day you stop accepting avoidable losses as normal is the day your factory starts moving toward world-class performance. What is one thing in your factory that people call "normal"—but you believe should never be accepted? More adhesive doesn’t always mean a better bond. Sometimes, it means the process isn’t fully dialed in. One extra bead may not look like much on a single part. But run that across a full shift, and it starts showing up where it hurts: More material. More cleanup. More adjustments. More variation. Less margin. That’s the dangerous part. The line keeps running. The parts may look fine. And the team gets used to adding a little more “just to be safe.” Until someone checks consumption and asks: Why are we using this much adhesive? The problem isn’t always the adhesive. Sometimes, it’s the application process. Pattern, temperature, pressure, and add-on all have to work together. A controlled dispensing process helps apply the right amount, in the right place, with less variation. Less waste. More control. Better margin. Where does adhesive waste hit your operation first: material usage, cleanup time, or rejected parts? #NordsonProductAssembly #AdhesiveDispensing #Manufacturing #ProcessControl #OperationalEfficiency #ProductAssembly #NuevoLeon #Tamaulipas
