After payment your customer gets an email receipt with a secure download link, and their name and email land in your audience list. There is no store to build and no website required.

Can I sell digital products without a website?

Yes. You can sell digital products from your Linktree without a website, a store or a separate checkout tool. Upload the file, set a price, and share your Linktree link.

What file types can I sell on Linktree?

Linktree digital products support PDF, DOCX, TXT and ePub for documents and ebooks, JPG, PNG, SVG, WEBP, TIFF, RAW and EPS for images, MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC and AIFF for audio, MP4 and MOV for video, and PSD, AI and InDesign for design files. You can add up to 24 files to one product, with a 100MB limit per file and 1GB in total.

How does my customer get the file after they pay?

Your customer gets the file automatically. Linktree emails them a receipt with a download link as soon as payment clears, and they can come back to their purchase at any time using a one time code. If they need help, they can contact you from the download page using the support email you set.

You can charge anything from $1 to $10,000 USD for a digital product on Linktree, or the local equivalent in the currency of your Stripe account. You set the price yourself when you create the product, so you can start small with a short guide and price a bigger bundle higher.

What does it cost to sell digital products on Linktree?

Listing a digital product on Linktree is free. When you make a sale, a Linktree transaction fee and a payment processing fee apply, and how much depends on your plan. Both come out automatically before your payout. Current rates for every plan are on the pricing page.

Paid digital products are available in 35 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and most of the EU. If your country is not on the list yet, you can still offer free digital downloads anywhere in the world and use them to grow your email list.

You can sell an online course with Linktree Courses, which is a separate feature for multi lesson content. Linktree digital products are for files your customer downloads once.

Is there anything I cannot sell?

Adult content cannot be sold or distributed through Linktree digital products, and a profile that links to adult domains or promotes sexual products is not eligible for Earn features. This is a restriction from our payment processor as well as our own guidelines.
