🌐 How are Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) and Universal Acceptance (UA) helping advance a more multilingual and inclusive Internet? The new #ICANN IDN Implementation and UA Adoption Report 2026 highlights global progress, including: ✅ 151 IDN top-level domains representing 37 languages and 23 scripts. ✅ Approximately 4.3 million IDNs registered at the second level. ✅ Growing community efforts to move from UA awareness to practical implementation and adoption. While progress continues, there is more work to do. Gaps in UA readiness remain and addressing them requires continued collaboration across the Internet ecosystem.
