Photographed by David Sims, each occupy metropolitan islands, individual oases, contradictory landscapes within cityscapes. Sometimes, figures are framed purely within the calm purity of the beach – in others, the city creeps in. The juxtaposition of different realities echo contrasts within these clothes, where casual mixes with elegance, occasion with undress, metropolitan tailoring with swimwear – hybrids, fusions, amalgams, all characteristic of Prada. Like these images, within these clothes the classic, the known and the loved are reconsidered, through ever-shifting perspectives.     On the island of Moorea (French Polynesia), where #CoralGardeners was founded in 2017, Titouan Bernicot, SEA BEYONDer and Founder of Coral Gardeners, and Giovanni Chimienti, SEA BEYONDer, marine biologist, and Professor at the University of Bari, led an educational workshop driven by a shared passion for the ocean, and for corals. The conversation was moderated by Francesca Santoro, Senior Programme Officer of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO, who helped translated complex scientific concepts into accessible narratives. The discussion brought together speakers’ experiences and knowledge in tropical seas and the Mediterranean, exploring the coral restoration model adopted by Coral Gardeners. Through dialogue and shared experiences, participants also discovered the deeper meaning of #SEABEYOND – the project by Prada Group conducted in partnership with UNESCO – where education, awareness and engagement become acts of care for the ocean. In Chawan Cabinet the objects are not merely presented; they are situated within a continuum of rituals, inviting a slower gaze and a more contemplative encounter.     On 14 April 2026, the unveiling of the photographic book "The Fight of the Forest: Alaska" by photographer, climate artist and SEA BEYONDer Enzo Barracco took place at Palazzo Aeronautica, the headquarters of the Italian Air Force in Rome, held in the framework of #SEABEYOND, the project by Prada Group conducted in partnership with the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO since 2019. A conversation on the power of photography to raise awareness of the importance of protecting the fragility of nature was held in the presence of the author Enzo Barracco, Lorenzo Bertelli, Prada Group Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, and Francesca Santoro, Senior Programme Officer of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO. The exhibition curated by Barracco himself, “Due sguardi sull’Artico a confronto” (Two Perspectives on the Arctic compared), which opened to the public on April 14 at the Historical Museum of the Italian Air Force in Vigna di Valle (Rome) will be on view until 31 May 2026.
