Hosted at the HEMA headquarters on the NDSM wharf, the event was a perfect mix of GraphQL engineering stories at HEMA and Booking.com and with a fresh MCP + GraphQL + AI update of the GraphQL Foundation AI working group. Using AWS AppSync for their composable commerce migration, Ivan shared the raw and honest lessons learned when introducing a new tech stack to a 100-year-old Dutch icon. 🛠️ 🔹 Christian Ernst (Booking.com) went "behind the scenes" to share the story of GraphQL's evolution at Booking.com. The focus was fully on Developer Experience (DevEx)—exploring how they’ve optimised the GraphQL toolings to keep hundreds of developers moving fast without breaking things at massive scale AND with maintaining fast performance of their systems! 📈 🔹 Thore Koritzius (MWAY GROUP GmbH) bridged the gap between GraphQL and AI.
