Today, the NCSC has announced that passkeys are more secure than all traditional ways to log in. People should now use passkeys wherever they are available, and two-step verification (2SV) where they aren’t. Most cyber harms to individuals start with stolen passwords, but stronger security doesn’t need to mean more complexity. Passkeys are faster and easier to use but, crucially, much harder to compromise than passwords. Every passkey adopted unlocks a simpler, more resilient digital lifestyle.
