Since 2014 we have been dedicated to running fundraising events to support Mountain Rescue Teams in the UK.

Currently I am walking 10000 Miles in memory of my parents who passed away 70 days apart in late 2019 and early 2020 and in aide of various UK mountain rescue teams.
At the end of 2024 I had passed 9600 miles and raised close to £40k for UK Mountain Rescue Teams

The incredible volunteers of Mountain Rescue teams provide lifesaving search and rescue cover across the UK, including the areas where the National Three Peaks Challenge takes place. This challenge spans the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales—Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon—attracting thousands of participants who take on the challenge to raise money for charities like Macmillan Cancer Research and Age UK.

Inspired by their efforts, I wanted to give back to the heroes who make these challenges safer. While many climb the Three Peaks to support great causes, I have committed to walking 20,000 miles to support those who risk their lives to rescue others in need. Every step I take is to raise vital funds for the Mountain Rescue teams—because they are the ones who ensure that others can walk, climb, and explore safely.
