    On July 22, Ambassador Bruce Oreck and NASA Astronaut Timothy Kopra, the grandson of Finnish immigrants to the United States, visited President Tarja Halonen at her summer residence, Kultaranta, in Naantali. Kopra was invited to Finland by the President last year.

They greeted the hundreds of guests, including the new Prime Minister, Mari Kiviniemi.
