Buy Me A Coffee is a free, fast, and beautiful way to receive support from your audience. Link your PayPal or Stripe account and you’re all set. Your supporters can then buy you a coffee and leave a positive comment, or even get access to any exclusive content or rewards that you offer.
Payouts are instantly processed through Paypal and Stripe (direct bank transfer). There is no hold or minimum threshold.
Installation
- Log in to your site’s Dashboard (e.g. http://www.yourawesomedomain.com/wp-admin)
- In the left panel, click “Plugins”, then click “Add New”.
- Search for “Buy Me A Coffee” — the latest version will appear at the top of the list of results.
- Click the “Install Now” button.
- Wait for the installation to finish, then click the “Activate” button.
- Under the “Add your account”, enter your Buy Me A Coffee username or create an account. Then click Save.
- Plugin will be installed and you will be returned to the Plugin Dashboard

During the sign up process, you will be asked to enter your PayPal and Stripe details. If you missed that step, you can do this from your settings page any time. All payments are instantly transferred to the connected accounts. Unlike other platforms, we do not hold your balance, and there is no minimum threshold. As for payments, anyone can buy you a coffee using PayPal, Credit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other local payment methods.

Is there an actual coffee included?

Nope, sadly. Coffee is just a metaphor creators use to get support. Each coffee represents an amount, and it is up to you how to spend it.

Is there a fee to using Buy Me A Coffee?

There is no monthly fee, and all features are available to everyone. Creators are paid 95% of the amount after a 5% platform fee (a creator earning $50 will keep $47.5). Payment processing fees charged by PayPal and Stripe are also applicable.
