Excited to be extending my support for the CFF and supporting a primary contributor focus to bring cf push experience to K8s over this next year along with our community partners and co-sponsors.https://twitter.com/cloudfoundry/status/1247523914227445760 …

In ‘09 I failed a TPM phone interview at Amazon. Knew what I could do. Didn’t get it. Much later: 1) Worked with great TPMs and they were right. I was not one. 2) I wouldn’t have met
@jbeda and done what we did. Shitty little moments may offer more opportunity than you think.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo -

Do yourself a favor: read. But be kind to yourself and read what matters NOW. I delight in things that were inaccessible 5 years ago. Shuck pretentiousness and just focus on the things people one level up from you consider great. Read the hell out of your next professional level.

Christmas tree software: Software you periodically drop into your production environment, manually setup with great attention to detail then watch dry up and die over time. Serves a purpose, but you probably don’t want everything in your house delivered that way.

What makes the Kubernetes community great is the three opens: open source, open design, open governance. The alloy is stronger than any of its parts.

Watching
@PGelsinger and@jbeda introduce Project Pacific. Kubernetes deeply baked into vSphere. This is a big deal. Not just vSphere delivering K8s, but k8s accelerating vSphere. Powerful API driven platform for mixed workload management.pic.twitter.com/b0o6Zja949

Congratulations
@bryanl and team on the OSS announcement of Octant. Client side dashboard for Kubernetes just makes so much sense.https://blogs.vmware.com/cloudnative/2019/08/12/octant-reveals-objects-running-in-kubernetes-clusters/ …Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo -
The most leveraged asset of the modern enterprise is the developer. We need to serve them better. Ticket driven IT won’t cut it.

The magic isn’t in the 10x engineer. It is in the 10x team. They exist, trust me. And FWIW the 10x team isn’t 100% populated with 10x engineers.

As a leader it isn’t your job to be the smartest person in the room. Your job is to get the smartest person to be in the room with you. And to make space so their voice is heard, and acted on. No matter who they are, or what their journey has been.

It’s only Kubernetes if it’s from the Kubernetes region of Greece. Otherwise it’s just sparkling cybernetics.

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
