2017 Annual Report

WordPress community programs enjoyed another year of significant growth in 2017. Below you’ll find information on the WordPress Foundation’s new programs supporting charity hackathons and open source education around the world. We also report on established programs like the WordCamp conference series and the WordPress meetup chapter program, which are both supported by the WordPress Foundation’s subsidiary, WordPress Community Support, PBC.

WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress. WordCamps are attended by people ranging from blogging newbies to professional WordPress developers and consultants, and usually combine scheduled programming with unconference sessions and other activities.
