Element has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator. The position will work closely with team members and report to the Department Manager. The ideal candidate will be customer focused, action-oriented, approachable, and patient
Salary: $25- $35/hr DOE
Responsibilities
- Entry of incoming test requests and other scheduled tasks under direction of Department Manager or detailed procedures
- Perform technical review of client PO’s to ensure compliance and enter work orders into operations system
- Contact customers over PO discrepancies or to obtain additional test detail
- Serve as a point of contact for customers, assisting them with status updates
- Receive incoming shipments and distribute entered sample/material to necessary departments
- Assist with customer pickup and/or ship return of samples
- Schedule and invoice projects
- Manage and organize all documentation for projects
- Provide communication to necessary personnel for specific project assignments
- Ensure team members have access to all resources and supplies needed for project assignments
- Serve as liaison between customers, managers, departments, and team members
- Provide detailed updates to customers if projects have a change in scope
- Set up calls and/or meetings when requested
- Work with Department Manager to resolve complaints
- Alert staff to expedite/ rush work and follow-up on issues and then work with production team to expedite work
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or lab management
- Self-disciplined and self-motivated.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain professional candor at all times and remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs. Strong and effective interpersonal skills that foster open upward and downward communication built on mutual respect.
- Ability to interface with clients to determine their needs and provide a satisfactory outcome.
- Proven ability to create and maintain strong professional relationships built on trust.
- Ability to interpret and adhere to the requirements of customer specifications.
