Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

Qualified candidates for this job opportunity will work closely with development Peers, Team Product Owners, and others in Software Quality Assurance to design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test suites always standing for the voice of the customer. Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories and software requirements; provide feedback to the agile team with a focus on system-wide and end-user impact
• Perform exploratory testing on complex user workflows
• Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning sessions, retrospectives) and openly advocate for issue resolution
• Provide detailed estimates for testing tasks related to user stories
• Collaborate with project team members to develop comprehensive test strategies across all layers (Web UI, Mobile UI, API, database)
• Develop detailed test cases to validate application functionality for all defined use cases
• Execute manual and automated tests and report results
• Report bugs and errors with detailed troubleshooting analysis, including clear reproduction steps and end-user impact
• Execute all testing phases (functional, integration, regression, post-release)
• Set up and maintain onsite photo lab equipment
• Maintain inventory of lab consumables and coordinate supply orders
• Design and develop automated test scripts using a proprietary framework
• Provide regular updates to the agile team on testing progress, risks to schedule, and quality goals
