Software Engineering Intern (Students & Early Career)
Location: Hybrid (Denver Metro Area) – Candidates must be located in Colorado.
Type: Part-time, hourly employee
Pay: $20/hr, maximum of 29 hours/week.
Expected duration: 10–12 weeks, with flexibility based on business needs.
UnionHub is looking for a Software Engineering Intern (Students & Early Career) to help build and scale our platform using .NET, C#, and Azure. This role is designed for individuals early in their software engineering journey—including students and recent graduates of coding bootcamps—who are eager to apply their skills in a real-world, production environment.
You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, product managers, and designers to contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact our platform and users. This role is a strong pathway into a full-time Junior Software Engineer position.

We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance features across our platform.
You’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to support the development of both front-end user experiences and back-end systems, helping deliver seamless and impactful solutions while gaining hands-on experience.
We’re looking for students in their junior or senior year of a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar program, as well as recent graduates of coding bootcamps.
Build and maintain applications using C#, .NET 8, and Azure-based services
Develop and support APIs for core platform functionality
Collaborate across engineering, product, and design teams to ship scalable features
Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment
Contribute to architecture decisions and continuous improvements
Stay current on modern engineering practices and tools
Who You Are
You’re a curious, motivated student who loves learning and building. You want a role where you can grow your skills, contribute meaningfully, and be part of a team that values:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a graduate of a coding bootcamp
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and responsiveness in sprint-based workflows
Must currently reside in Colorado
Preferred Qualifications
Strong SQL skills and experience with data manipulation
Agile team experience
Full stack experience (bonus: React)
Interest in data, reporting, and analysis
Familiarity with .NET and C#
Experience with Azure DevOps
