While this provides a layer of obfuscation its still possible to tap both ends of your infra and gather a rough picture of what is happening interms of source and requested names. It's like a cop sitting at the center of the street leaving ends open for entry and exit. The intention of the project is benevolent which is good to see. Google is a horrible company and this would atleast provide an off ramp for someone looking to avoid its nameservers.
