What an evening. Last night, against the backdrop of the London skyline, I came together with a number of my fellow members of The 5% Club and formally launched the Business Leadership Council atop The BT Tower. Its an exciting milestone in the history of the charity I founded ten years ago. I wanted to inspire other business leaders to encourage and welcome Apprentices and Graduates into their workforce to help build a socially mobile, prosperous and cohesive nation, and, to get young people into work. The 5% Club has come a long way since then. Today, with over 1,000 members, the Business Leadership Council is the next step. Chaired by the Rt Hon Anne Milton, it will focus on providing invaluable insights, business intelligence and practical ideas to boost The 5% Club’s impact even more. I’m excited for what the future holds.
