Here’s how to boost your rank: - Add every keyword from your ResyMatch scan - Choose the top 5 most relevant skills - Ask colleagues, friends, family, & classmates for endorsements (aim for 5) 7. After optimizing over 10,000 LinkedIn profiles, here's what I know for sure: (1) Your profile picture and headline are the most crucial elements. They follow you everywhere on LinkedIn. A true headshot is essential. It humanizes you and makes interactions easier. Forget body shots or anything that doesn't clearly show your face. (2) Your headline shouldn't be salesy. Do NOT use something like "I help X people do Y thing" Keep it simple. Keep it human: Job Title at Company Name | Something Professional about yourself | Something personal about yourself (3) Leverage the custom button feature if you have LinkedIn Premium (including Sales Nav). It's a powerful call-to-action that appears in your posts, messages, and search results. (4) Consider removing your "About" section. It can distract from your featured content, which is prime real estate on your profile. Your featured section should showcase your best performing post, a lead magnet, and a link to your website. (5) Customize your activity section. You can highlight videos, images, or events to make your profile unique. (6) Don't overlook your public URL. A clean, personalized URL adds a professional touch.
