Teething Problems to Start, Now In Love!
While the first day of using the app had enough snags for me to write to the designers to see if there was a bug to be dealt with - it is chugging away brilliantly now. My local library is a scary joke (my husband begs me to not go alone, or better, don't go at all) and I read far too fast to be able to buy books as I want to read them, (Its not unusual to plow through nearly a 100 in a week in the winter. I try to read slower, but I just a freak I suppose) at least not AND pay the mortgage & buy groceries. Scribd is simply brilliant. HUGE collection of brand new and old classics, I had to set a timer and make myself stop adding titles to be library list after 60 minutes or I would have gone on into dawn, never stopping. Great price (even if I do go to the local, it is $5 to park for an hour - Scribd paid for itself already) wonderfully vast collection, growing all the time. I can now read novels as and when I like, and only buy the books I really want to have forever. If you are a reader, this app is, quite simply, one of the best things to buy for you iPad I have come across in the few years I've had one!

This app is awesome I would like all the book lovers to come and look at this app and while I am here I would recommend the book called Tidal by Amanda Hocking best book ever!!! And also I want to let the company know that instead of having to flip through the pages to get to the page you left off on you can put like a bookmark or something to get back to that page instead of having to flip through the pages constantly. But overall I guess that is,is an amazing app for all book lovers and yeah I recommend reading the book Tidal by Amanda Hocking once you get the app and you should also read Wake which is the first book then Lullaby which is the second book and Tidal which is the third and these are all bye the same author Amanda Hocking alright that is all I have to say I know you guys are like finally she is done talking well yea I am done talking well just check out this app and read the series that I have recommended which is I think the Watersong series so just check is out bye!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great books, the app could use some improvement
I love the collection of books! Just like going into the library and seeing so many books that you didn't even know were out there. These are high quality, current books. It's well worth the subscription price--I couldn't afford to buy all of these, nor would I have room for them. And I doubt my local library has most of them, either.
On the down side, sometimes the books are hard to read because the formatting gets funky. The other thing is the lack of ability to interact with the book. Internal links don't work (that is a major issue--can't jump from the TOC to the chapter), you can't highlight, you can't bookmark, you can't make notes. Once again...just like checking a book out of the library. I think for a monthly subscription price, some of these functionalities should be added. Certainly make the internal links work, at the very least. I hope they fix that soon. In the meantime, I'll keep my subscription so that I have access to the amazing library.
