Today, we announced the nationwide launch of the Amazon One Medical GLP-1 Management Program, integrating GLP-1 management directly into patients’ primary care relationships. That means our clinicians work with patients to consider how weight loss intersects with their cardiovascular health, metabolic conditions, and overall wellbeing — and adjusting care accordingly. The fully integrated care journey includes: pre-visit screening, structured consultations, regular follow-up visits with integrated monitoring, standardized documentation, and evidence-based treatment algorithms with built-in safety protocols. When GLP-1 medications are clinically appropriate, patients receive personalized treatment plans and a streamlined prior authorization process to help them begin treatment more quickly. Patients retain the choice to use any pharmacy they prefer, but for those who choose Amazon Pharmacy, they receive upfront transparent pricing and fast delivery are available.
