Healthcare Solution Architect

About the Role

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Healthcare Solution Architect to support the continued growth of our global healthcare consulting practice. This individual will play a critical role in designing, shaping, and selling healthcare solutions primarily tied to Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms, with a strong emphasis on Epic Systems.

This is a highly strategic, client-facing role requiring a blend of technical depth, consulting experience, and commercial acumen. The ideal candidate brings a strong sense of urgency, collaboration, and the ability to translate client challenges into scalable, high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Advisory

• Design and lead end-to-end service solutions across EHR ecosystems, with a focus on Epic and other EHR platforms such as Oracle Health Cerner and Meditech.
• Architect services spanning:
• Enterprise EHR implementations
• System upgrades and optimizations
• Module rollouts and enhancements
• Integration and interoperability strategies
• Change management and User Adoption/Training
• Align solutions to client business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational constraints

Client Engagement & Pre-Sales Leadership

• Partner with sales and account teams to shape, scope, and win new business opportunities
• Lead discovery sessions with healthcare executives (CIO, CMIO, CTO, operational leaders)
• Translate client needs into clear, compelling proposals and solution roadmaps
• Communicate complex technical concepts in a way that is accessible and actionable

Program Strategy & Delivery Enablement

• Define delivery models across:
• Strategic implementations
• System upgrades and optimizations
• Training and adoption programs
• Change management initiatives
• Managed services and ongoing support
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure solution integrity from design through execution
• Establish best practices, frameworks, and reusable assets for EHR engagements

Practice Development

• Contribute to building Insight Global’s healthcare consulting capabilities, including:
• EHR solution frameworks
• Go-to-market offerings
• Thought leadership and client-facing content
• Mentor junior consultants and solution designers

Required Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in healthcare consulting or health IT
• Prior experience with a global consulting firm in healthcare services (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, Cognizant, Nordic, Epic, Capgemini) in a client facing role
• Deep expertise in Epic Systems
• Working knowledge of Oracle Health Cerner, eClinicalWorks (eCW) and/or Meditech
• Proven experience solutioning and delivering:
• EHR implementations and upgrades
• Optimization, stabilization and Epic refuel initiatives
• Training and adoption programs
• Change management strategies
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Eager to work in a fast-paced highly competitive environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale health system transformations
• Familiarity with interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR)
• Exposure to revenue cycle, patient access, or clinical documentation workflows
