Job Summary:
Responsible for go to market processes, communication, distribution policies, hardware logistics, and any commercial interaction for on highway telematics business.
What You Will Do:
- Lead relationship with on highway telematics supplier
- Manage and maintain all commercial administration processes
- Provide quoting support for both dealer and direct sales teams
- Works with business partners across the organization and outside consultants to gain industry trends and collect voice of the customer and voice of the business to propose ideas for business growth.
- Create and maintain external marketing materials for on highway solution
- Manage order to invoice process, and provide oversight, documentation, and training
- Create templates and document new processes
- Manage competitive hardware offerings

- Documents data from various sources and in various formats.
- Utilizes basic data collection and evaluation tools and techniques.

- Applies an assigned technique for critical thinking in a decision-making process.
- Identifies, obtains, and organizes relevant data and ideas.
- Participates in documenting data, ideas, players, stakeholders, and processes.
- Recognizes, clarifies, and prioritizes concerns.

- Delivers helpful feedback that focuses on behaviors without offending the recipient.
- Listens to feedback without defensiveness and uses it for own communication effectiveness.
- Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work.
- Avoids technical jargon when inappropriate.
- Looks for and considers non-verbal cues from individuals and groups.
Level Basic Understanding:
- Describes qualities of effective and ineffective negotiations.
- Explains the basic concepts of negotiating.
- Accesses organizational policies and practices for negotiating.
- Utilizes techniques for establishing rapport and building trust.

- Provides prompt and effective responses to client requests and interactions.
- Monitors client satisfaction levels on a regular basis.
- Differentiates the roles and responsibilities in a business relationship.
- Works with clients to address critical issues and resolve major problems.

- Implements the group's go-to-market strategy.
- Raises awareness of potential strategic alliances and partnerships.
- Monitors marketplace trends, opportunities, and vulnerabilities; reports findings.
Level Basic Understanding:
- Presents product, technology or service costs and benefits in reaction to prospect or customer requests.
- Describes general concepts, practices and benefits of value-based versus product selling.
- Documents proposed product/service solutions to be presented to potential customers.
- Pursues additional 'value selling' education or training to enhance traditional sales practices.
- Ideal applicants will have On Highway telematics sales/industry experience
- Ability to work across teams and outside partners,

Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
