Hi, I'm Slava Akhmechet. I currently work at Azure on distributed services. Before that I worked at Stripe, and before that I cofounded RethinkDB. You can reach me at coffeemug [at] gmail [dot] com.
Soviet applied math and physics book targeted at smart honors high school students. Feels roughly equivalent to early undergrad material in a good U.S. university. I never learned basic physics, so working through this book is really fun. WIP.
I started taking these notes to understand Spivak's epsilon-delta limits chapter, but then kept going. The notes follow the book, but the chapters don't match. WIP.
I went through Axler's LADR book some time in 2024. See my writeup of the experience and my homework solutions. Unfortunately I didn't take extensive notes. If I ever go through the book again, I will post them.
