As someone who recently eased back into work after one year of maternity leave, the flexibility that MongoDB provided me when it came to balancing work from home and the office allowed me to proiritise family time and continue my breastfeeding journey. Coming back to work after a long leave is no easy job, but thanks to the flexibility here I can choose when to visit the office and ensure I also provide support to my child when he is sick from crèche or has a checkup. For example, my son's crèche recently held a mother's day breakfast, and I was able to drop him off at 7:30, stay a little longer and speak with other parents, and then drive to work.
