Good Morning, I have never in all the time of me owning smartphones and downloading apps never just left let alone felt like leaving a review just wasn’t my style, but this app ngl at first I had very low expectations since it was just another annoying app sitting in my face as ads on social media sites and one I decided after the millionth ad to download didn’t understand the concept at first but after I finished my first book within my 7 day trial honestly that’s literally my only criticism is forcing the 7 day trial right after downloading the app and signing up allow ppl to see how dope this app is themselves with the 10-30 second Paladin ads on repeat lol and offer the paid version then, but being on my 10th book I can honestly say being someone that was failed on a lot of fronts since adolescence I’ve learned how to conquer and champion that experience while also recognizing my responsibility being the things within my control. This is the most present I’ve been in my entire life. I could have never fathomed reading entire books in 4-5 min. Blocks would exponentially improve my overall well being gaining the ability to face hard truths about my self and unlearn counterproductive habits and subsequently replace them with more favorable ones. Simply put this app is a game changer and I’m grateful for its creation. Should the opportunity arise I would love to collaborate further even beyond the testimonial.

Highly recommend this app to anyone! Especially anyone with some ADHD or anyone Highly Sensitive or anyone annoyed with all the small print in everything ;-) they customize articles, quotes and structure for things you may need to improve - e.g. procrastination habits, staying focused, staying motivated, etc. I love the large print because it makes one more likely to read it w/out having to go grab the glasses. The format is also really unique and unlike any of the other apps that I’ve seen on the market. You can tell that a lot of research went into this and that they are using science of brain functioning to best serve us here. Thank you to Deepstash! One recommendation as someone with Irlen Syndrome (light sensitivity that affects reading and is treated with using color overlays), I’d love to see some light colors/pastels (peach, light pink, lavender, light blue or green) applied to the app and an emoji feature for journaling feelings. I do like this app; however, the resources are limited. There is a lot of book, but the books I am interested in is all quite surface level and bland. For example there’s was one I found on star-wars which I thought would be a lot of fun. To my disappointment, it was just a bunch of quotes with a very AI surface level explanation. It would say oh this quote shows the complexity of our social structure and that would be it. It does catch my attention with its macro learning but I can’t take the next step and learn more about the topic through the app. It’s like watching one of those real or fake TikTok video that doesn’t have a part 2. I hope they can add a feature where u can read deeper. Like maybe showing where the quotes original source was from so I can read the whole passage. So in summery great little gimmick but not worth getting a yearly subscription for. Hope this review helped.P.s. I think one of the reason I don’t like it so much is it doesn’t have the stuff I’m interested in, but stuff on personal growth, communication skills/relationship skills, and business start ups have more detailed and useful readings. But for me a film production college student who wants to learn about films related content. Lastly I’m also one of those guys who thinks those celebrities quotes ,on how they got to where they are, are all pretty boring as I think it’s basic sense really so that is what I feel like this app is kinda like.

I originally downloaded Deepstash because it was a refreshing mix of quick quotes, standalone ideas, short insights from articles, books, podcasts, and more. It felt like a real alternative to mindless scrolling—bite-sized wisdom you could browse freely by topic or search for specific concepts without committing to a full summary.But they’ve completely shifted the app. They got rid of most of the standalone quotes and loose ideas, and now everything is locked behind full book summaries (or at least what they call “ideas” that are just excerpts tied to books). When I search for a topic or idea I used to find easily, half the results are missing, or I have to click into a longer book summary to even see anything relevant. You can’t just casually read and collect random powerful ideas anymore; it’s all funneled into these structured book breakdowns.I loved the diversity before—different books, articles, videos, user-contributed stuff, motivational quotes, practical tips from various sources. Now it feels way more homogenized and limited. The material lacks diversity too; it’s heavy on the usual self-help/business/pop-psychology suspects with not much variety or depth in other areas.Success seems to have turned Deepstash into just another generic book summary app—exactly like the ones it used to stand out from. Good while it lasted, but the magic is gone. I’m deleting it and moving on. Disappointed.
