  • The Configure It Done Melbourne community came together last night to hear insights from Luke Keddie on his recent SAP S/4 program experiences. A key takeaway from the session was the value of focusing on small, achievable wins to build momentum. Early success creates a positive ripple effect, while trying to do too much too soon can introduce unnecessary complexity and slow progress. Establishing a strong, manageable foundation is critical to getting programs up and running effectively. Precision Sourcing extends its thanks to Capgemini and their incredible Melbourne team for hosting the event and supporting the community. A special shoutout to Bethany Nrekic for the fantastic work she’s done bringing the local community together and representing Precision Sourcing in Melbourne🧡 Jay Wynter Seb Bliss Abigail Van Rooyen

  • Most data professionals aren’t struggling because of a lack of opportunity. They’re struggling because the definition of value has changed. Right now, the market is filtering for a different profile: 🔸Can you deploy, not just build? 🔸Can you tie your work to commercial outcomes? 🔸Can you operate in production environments? Because that’s what organisations are prioritising. AI is still a focus. Data investment is still there. But the tolerance for “nice to have” skills is gone. What’s replacing it is a clear expectation: faster execution, clearer impact, less ambiguity. That’s why some candidates are moving quickly… While others are getting lost in high application volumes. The difference isn’t experience. It’s relevance. 👉 If you want to understand exactly how the market is shifting, download our latest Data Market Report - https://lnkd.in/g2tzKhxr #DataCareers #AI #MLOps #DataEngineering #TechJobs #CareerGrowth

  • 🎙️We’re back - and kicking off a brand new season of Configure IT Done. To start things strong, Cameron Berkman returns to the podcast six years after his first appearance - and this time, he’s unpacking one of the most ambitious transformations in the market. From a blank site in Swanbank to a $400m multi-beverage facility, this episode touches on what it really takes to deliver at scale - tight deadlines, evolving teams, and the kind of cultural mindset that makes the impossible… possible. It’s not just about the transformation itself, but the lessons behind it - simplifying delivery, empowering teams, and knowing when “done” is better than perfect. Season kickoff. Big story. Plenty to take away. Listen now - link in comments.

  • The gap between AI ambition and data readiness is still huge. And it’s becoming one of the biggest blockers for data professionals right now. We’re seeing a clear shift in the market: ➡️ More competition (200+ applicants per role) ➡️ Higher expectations (baseline skills aren’t enough anymore) ➡️ Real demand for those who can actually deliver in production Python and SQL will get you in the game… But they won’t set you apart. What will? • MLOps capability • Strong cloud experience • Proven deployment and business impact The reality is, organisations aren’t just hiring for potential anymore. They’re hiring for execution. So the question is: Are you building skills that match where the market is going… or where it’s been? 👉 If you want a deeper look at where the data market is heading, download our latest Data Market Report. https://lnkd.in/g9e8arPZ #DataCareers #AI #MLOps #DataEngineering #TechJobs #CareerGrowth

  • Tomorrow on Configure IT Done… What happens when your project managers are burning out from reporting the same thing five different ways? In this clip, Cameron Berkman shares how a simple shift - “write once, read many” - helped cut through the noise, reduce admin overload, and refocus teams on what actually matters: risk, delivery, and staying on schedule. It’s a small change, but one that had a big impact on a major transformation. And it’s just one insight from the full episode🎙️ Coming tomorrow! #ConfigureITDone

  • The tech market hasn’t slowed - but what’s in demand has changed. Across Q3, we’re seeing a clear shift: 👉 Less focus on volume 👉 More focus on capability, impact and outcomes From AI-aware Business Analysts to IAM specialists and platform engineers, the bar has been raised across every discipline. So what skills are actually in demand right now? We’ve broken it down here👇 And if you want the full picture, download the full Q3 FY26 Technology Market Report here: https://lnkd.in/gs5E2sxS
