    • Applications were developed in java; based on a number of open source frameworks similar to Apache Karaf, Apache Camel, Apache CXF, Apache Tomcat, iBatis, Neo4J, ehCache, Freemarker, spring, Smooks, and Maven. The development environment was based on Intellij, and the relational database engine relied on oracle11g.
    • Applications involved asynchronous in-memory processing of large data volumes represented in a graph data structure, in order to apply a number of convoluted bioinformatics algorithms, resulting in the extraction of relevant information, and their persistence in a relational database repository, providing the business user with the ability to retrieve previously deduced information and generate useful reports.
