We are currently partnering with a fast-growing global e-commerce marketplace to hire a Business Development Manager for the German market.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of business development, category growth, and marketplace operations, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, data-driven environments.

What you’ll be doing:

• Identify, engage, and onboard brands, manufacturers, and sellers to the platform.
• Support partners in growing their business, from product strategy to pricing and marketing.
• Analyze category performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Drive initiatives to improve assortment, competitiveness, and overall marketplace value.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to execute projects and scale partner performance.

What we’re looking for:

• 8+ years of experience in business development within e-commerce, marketplaces, or platform environments.
• Experience in e-commerce as a Vendor Manager, Account Manager, or similar role, ideally with access to local seller networks.
• Solid understanding of how to grow sellers/brands within a marketplace.
• Data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insights into actions.
• Existing network of sellers, brands, or vendors is a strong plus.
• Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable in high-growth environments.
• Languages: German and English required; Chinese is a plus.
