This is a bi-weekly video chat meeting for planning and discussion of Blender rendering development. Any contributor (developer, UI/UX designer, writer, …) working on rendering in Blender is welcome to join and add proposed items to the agenda.

For users and other interested parties, we ask to read the meeting notes instead so that the meeting can remain focused.

Do you have any new hypotheses regarding the performance fluctuation on Metal ( Benchmarks )?

There are a few ideas. Might be thermal related, or something else that makes the system to bounce between power states. We are looking into it, although it is not the highest priority to spend resources on atm, so might take a bit.
