Is there anything more festive than fresh greenery at Christmastime? The vibrant green color, the fragrant scent, and the cozy feel it creates are what make it so magical. A few years ago, while working on our Christmas tablescape for Leon’s Hello Holiday guide, I wanted to bring that same holiday magic to my place settings—just on a smaller scale. Instead of trying to work with bulky greenery in such a tight space, I decided to create these adorable rosemary wreath Christmas place cards. Simple to make, fragrant, and festive, they were the perfect touch for our holiday table.

To complement the natural greenery of these rosemary wreath place cards, why not add a little extra glow to your table? I recently shared a tutorial on how to make quick and easy floating candles for a beautiful Christmas centerpiece. The soft flicker of candlelight paired with the fresh rosemary creates a cozy, festive ambiance that’s sure to impress your guests. Instructions
1. Curve a sprig of rosemary around into a circle. You may have to snap the sprig a little to get it into a smooth circle, just be careful not to break it all the way through. I found it was easiest to sort of just push my fingernail into the stem where I wanted it to bend, without going all the way through. Sort of like scoring paper.

2. Tie with a twine or jute bow.

3. Repeat for as many place cards as you need.

4. Print and cut out enough place cards from THIS PLACE CARD TEMPLATE.

5. Write one guest’s name on each place card and place one on top of each rosemary wreath.

And there you have a little bit of natural greenery at each and every place setting!
