From the President
While becoming accustomed to writing 2026 instead of 2025, I want to thank the outgoing members of the Magnetics Society Administrative Committee who completed their tenure of three years. They are Giovanni Finocchio (University of Messina), Takeshi Kato (Nagoya University), Young Keun Kim (Korea University), Marcelo Knobel (University of Campinas), David A. Lowther (McGill University), Lucian Prejbeanu (CEA), Montserrat Rivas (University of Oviedo), and Masashi Shiraishi (Kyoto University).
Sponsored Publications
-
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics (TransMag) is a peer-reviewed, archival journal in science and technology related to the basic physics and engineering of magnetism, magnetic materials, applied magnetics, magnetic devices, and magnetic data storage.
-
IEEE Magnetics Letters (IML) is a rapid-publication, primarily electronic, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to magnetics articles of substantial current interest.
-
While IEEE Access scope is multidisciplinary, the IEEE Magnetics Society Section focuses on theory and applications of magnetism, magnetic materials, and magnetic devices.
Co-sponsored
-
The IEEE Journal on Exploratory Solid-State Computational Devices and Circuits (JxCDC) is an “Open Access” journal for publication of research using exploratory materials and devices aimed at novel energy-efficient computation beyond standard CMOS transistor technology.
-
IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering publishes regular, review, and tutorial articles based on the engineering applications of quantum phenomena, including quantum computation, information, communication, software, hardware, devices, and metrology.
