Have a Beautiful Sunday,
Hugs, Nellie
Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.
Romans 14:19 NIV
Hello Sweet Friends,
How's You this beautiful day??
We are basking in something that
has taken 7 weeks to get a final
approval for, and are singing the
Halleleujah Chorus Finally!
Read about it in #12
Hope you are enjoying your Spring
Season. We are as much as we
can with all the tumult we have
been experiencing of late. lol
Thought you might enjoy some
pretty flowers today. So. . . . . .
Pictures today are of Spring flowers
compliments of Pixabay. Some I
know the names of some, I don't. lol
I believe the header picture is a
Ranunculi or Ranunculis, She's
a beauty for sure.

So on with my Thankfuls.....
#1
Thankful we were able to talk with
an attorney and get some possibly
much needed information.
#2
Thankful I was able to go to church on
Sunday even if it was for only half the
service. It felt great to be there, I count
it as progress, and a taste of things
hoped for............
#3
Thankful for the nursing/ rehab
center where Susan is, she says
how nice everyone is, and she really
likes the food, which is great.
#4
Thankful for an HGTV show called
"Home Town" with Ben and Erin.
We just love their show, and they
seem like the sweetest folks. Would
love to meet them..........lol
#5
Thankful to see one of our brown
bunnies out today having a late
breakfast. lol
#6
Thankful that the last 3 nights we
have both slept well. We have had
some restless nights grappling with
things going on with Susan and
what we hope isn't coming.
Daisies
#7
Thankful for Leslie Sansone videos that
I can pull up on U-tube, and that I am
able to do more proficiently all the time.
#8
Thankful that I have also discovered
some other videos on U-tube, that I
never knew existed that have to do
with decorating, So am enjoying some
of those at times too.
#9
Thankful that because of a decision Susan
made today, my husband didn't have to
make it. She has decided to go into
comfort care because she is exhausted
and does not want to do rehab any
longer. Of Course, we feel bad about
it, but if given her situation, we would
probably do the same, and we are
happy she was the one to make that
decision for herself. She knows the
Lord and know her final destination,
Is heaven.... which we are all
very grateful for...
#10
Thankful for a long chat with my
sweet Daughter yesterday and today.....
one of the joys of my life.
#11
Thankful for the feel and smell of
clean sheets on my bed. such a pleasure.
#12
Thankful that hubby finally got the
final approval to be able to write
Susan's bills out of her checking acct.
She drew up a Durable Power of attorney
many years ago, and because it is so old
the bank would not except it, so you would
not believe all the hoops he has had to
jump through and all the trips to the
bank (9) and all the phone calls and
waiting, not to mention the stress.
So we are rejoicing over another long
awaited answer to prayer, about
7 weeks now.
Thank You Jesus!

Have a Lovely April...............
Can't believe we are over half
way thru April already. Crazy!
Love, Hugs and Mid April
Blessings,
Nellie
#1
Thankful for Jesus as he is the reason we
celebrate Easter, and thankful that Jesus
was willing to go to the cross and die for
my sins, so that I could have a life filled
with His goodness, and know I am gonna
be spending eternity with him. The Bible
says, "to be absent from the body is to
be with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8)
I love that........and I love Jesus
#2
Thankful that our kids got back home safe
and sound on Sunday. Always sad to say
good bye until next time, but makes it easier
if we know when we are gonna hopefully
see each other again, and this time we do.
Flowers from my friend Becky
#3 and 4
Thankful for my belated birthday celebration
with the family, and for the delicious
"White chocolate Raspberry Bundt cake,
that Dee had sent to me on my birthday
but didn't come until the next day. So we
just left it packaged and put it in the frig
and opened it on my belated birthday,
and it was sooo delicious, we all really
enjoyed it, had it 2 nights in a row, and
there was none leftover. lol
#5
Thankful for 3 wonderful days of being
together with our family. We had so much
fun, talking, joking, preparing food, eating,
card playing, watching "Neighborhood watch"
and laughing our heads off. We all totally
enjoyed it.....were we tired afterwards?
Yes, but it was a good and sweet tired!!
#6
Thankful for all the beautiful cards and
gifts they showered me with....
Pink Calla Lilies from hubby
#7
Thankful that they were able to rescue
those 2 airmen that had to eject in Iran.
Loved what his message was
God is Good!!
#8
Thankful that our friends were able to
get through Easter Sunday Service. He is
a Pastor and they did not get a wink of
sleep on Sat. night, and he had a horrible
headache and even lost his voice, but was
amazingly still able to preach.
#9
Thankful that we decided to have a Taco
Night while the kids were here. Hubby got
this cilantro lime marinated chicken at
Aldi's that we had before and it was so
delicious, but never had it on Tacos, well,
it was a hit. We just made a Taco bar
with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, scallions,
black olives, cilantro, sour cream and
guacamole. We take a large flour tortillo
and put it on a plate then add some cheese
on it, then break a corn taco in half on top
and microwave it for about 20 seconds,
then stuff that baby to overflowing, it was
a huge hit with everyone. This might just
become a tradition every time we get
together now. lol
Isn't this an adorable mug, inside
the rim it as says "Some bunny loves you"
from my Daughter. So cute!
#10
Thankful that we finally started getting
Susan's mail today. That is a huge answer
to prayer, as hubby has been to the Post
office at least 3 times, and has gotten
info thru the mail saying that the for-
warding is approved and still nothing
came, until today. Took about 5 weeks.
We can get our mail stopped when we
go away in a day. lol
#11
Thankful we are seeing new buds on "Gorgeous
and "Beautiful". Beautiful has a new leaf.
They are the " White Wedding hydrangeas"
we ordered and planted last year at this time.
Was sort of worried about them, as we had
a pretty severe Winter for us, this year and
since they were sort of the new girls in town,
we were concerned if they would make it or not.
But they are looking promising. So excited to
see how they do in the week to come.
Anthurium Plant from my Son and lil darling

Thankful that I was sufficiently flowered. lol
Everyone who knows me, knows I love flowers.

Greeting Sweet Friends,
#1
Thankful that I already got 2 birthday cards
from friends and my birthday is not till
Sunday, so nice to be thought of.....
#2
Thankful my Sister-in-law Susan is still
in good spirits and looking better all the
time, since she is eating well, unfortunately,
not much progress with her legs.
#3
Thankful, so thankful that I and those
I love were born and raised in America with traditional values.
My heart breaks for those across the world
who were not, and are suffering so under
these terribly brutal regimes, and it truly
prompts me to pray for them often.
#4
Thankful that I have our Easter table
almost planned, but still working on the
centerpiece. lol
#5
Thankful for small changes like trading
lamps from one room to another that
just gives us something new to look at
without having to buy something new.
#6
Thankful hubby got to go to watch
lil darling play volleyball again this
Saturday with our Son, then they
picked up food and we all had dinner
together. Always great spending
time with out Son.
#7
Thankful that I am now working on our
guest bedroom since we are having
company next week.
#8
Thankful Susan is still in good spirits
and really likes the rehab center and her
care givers and the food. Awesome.
#9
Thankful for a quiet, yet lovely 74th
birthday. Hubby made me a lovely
breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon and
orange rolls, with a very sweet card,
got lots of phone calls and texts, and
lovely meaningful birthday cards and
tons of facebook wishes, and a very special
FB post from my Daughter. You all make
me feel so loved and like a celebrity,
and....
we are still celebrating on Thursday
when the whole family can be here.
Whoo Hoo!
That all makes me one Happy Girl...
#10
Thankful for the beautiful bundt cake
our Daughter sent me on my birthday,
unfortunately, it didn't get delivered
until the next day, but it is a beauty
and can't wait to have some. It is
white chocolate raspberry cake. YUM!!
#11
Thankful to get a phone call from a
dear friend of 55 years. She is 78,
but it was a bit sad too, as she is
battling cancer of the liver, and she
has been thru chemo, immuno therapy
and just finished radiation, and she
goes to get the results tomorrow,
Sooo, praying for good results...
She is such a wonderful, fun loving,
sweet and comedic friend, and she
has the best sense of humor, but she
lives in Ala., so been quite a while since
we have seen each other.
I met her not long before I married
hubby. She and I worked together
and she and her hubby attended
our Wedding 55 yrs. ago
#12
Thankful that even tho Susan slid out
of her wheelchair, she did not hurt
herself. So grateful for that!!
