  • šŸ—ŗļø Still dealing with a cluttered map full of overlapping pins? That frustration ends with pin clustering in .NET MAUI Maps—now supported on AndroidĀ and iOS/Mac Catalyst. Here’s what you need to know: šŸ“ What is pin clustering? Nearby pins are automatically grouped into a single cluster marker when zoomed out. As you zoom in, clusters break apart to reveal individual pins—giving you a cleaner, more intuitive map experience. āš™ļø Enable clustering It takes just one property to switch it on. Instantly, nearby pins are grouped into clusters with a count badge showing how many items are inside. šŸØ Separate clustering groups Not all pins should behave the same. Whether it’s coffee shops, parks, hotels, or attractions - you can group them independently using the ClusteringIdentifier. šŸŽ›ļø Handle cluster taps Want more control? The ClusterClicked event lets you customize interactions—access cluster pins, location, and override default zoom behavior. šŸ—’ļø Platform notes Android uses a built-in grid-based algorithm—no extra dependencies needed. iOS & Mac Catalyst leverage native MapKit clustering for smooth animations. Cleaner maps. Better user experience. Less clutter. Read the blog to find out more! https://lnkd.in/gRKFainY #DotNet #MAUI #MobileDevelopment #AppDevelopment #UX #Developers #MicrosoftDev

šŸ“Š Did you know translytical task flows in Microsoft Power BI are now generally available? This new capability brings write-back and action-taking directly into your reports—so you can update data, trigger workflows, and collaborate across systems without ever leaving the dashboard. Here’s what you can do: āœļø Add data Create new records straight from your report. For example, a customer service rep can add a new customer while reviewing accounts—and see it reflected instantly. šŸ”„ Update data Modify existing records in real time. A logistics coordinator can update order statuses or add shipment notes while working through their queue. šŸ—‘ļø Delete data Clean up outdated or unnecessary records. Inventory managers can remove discontinued products while monitoring stock levels. šŸ”— Call external APIs Trigger actions in other systems via API requests. For instance, a sales rep can submit a discount request that posts directly to Microsoft Teams for manager approval. šŸ¤– More capabilities Go beyond basic data edits with annotations, data quality management, workflow automation, and even AI-assisted decision-making. With translytical task flows, Microsoft Power BI evolves from a reporting tool into a fully interactive, action-driven workspace. • 🧩 Still installing extensions just to use Azure MCP tools in Visual Studio 2022? That extra setup is now a thing of the past. Azure MCP tools are officially built into Visual Studio 2022 - no separate installation required. If you already have the Azure development workload, you’re good to go. Here’s what changed and why it matters: āš™ļø Built-in by defaultĀ  Azure MCP tools now ship with the Azure development workload. Once enabled in GitHub Copilot Chat, they stay active across sessions - no repeated setup. šŸ› ļø 230+ tools at your fingertipsĀ  Access over 230 tools across 45 Azure services directly within GitHub Copilot Chat, supporting your entire development lifecycle. šŸ’” From learning to productionĀ  Ask questions about Azure services, get architecture recommendations, configure apps, deploy resources, and troubleshoot issues - all without leaving Visual Studio. ⚔ Quick setupĀ  Update Visual Studio 2022, ensure the Azure development workload is installed, sign in, and enable the Azure MCP Server in Copilot Chat. šŸ“Œ A few things to noteĀ  Azure MCP tools are off by default and must be enabled manually. Availability depends on your Azure permissions and requires an active GitHub Copilot subscription. This update turns Visual Studio into more than just a development environment - it’s now a full Azure command center. • ā˜Žļø Does your customer conversation really end when the call disconnects?Ā Not quite. Post-call work—logging outcomes, updating systems, triggering workflows, and ensuring compliance—still needs to happen. When done manually, it often leads to delays and inconsistencies. Here’s how caller hang-up event support in Dynamics 365 Contact Center and Copilot Studio is changing that: šŸ” Why it matters Manual post-call tasks often lead to missed actions, outdated data, and gaps in reporting. Automating what happens after the call ensures nothing slips through the cracks. ✨ What’s new Voice agents can now detect end-of-conversation events and instantly trigger actions based on how a call ends—directly within Copilot Studio flows. This is powered by activity-based triggers, giving makers full control over post-call automation. āš™ļø How it works At the end of each call, the system generates a structured event (including activity type and context). Makers can define triggers based on these events—such as call outcome or reason—and automatically execute the appropriate workflows. The result? A reliable, event-driven approach to post-call automation. šŸš€ Key benefits Trigger post-call workflows instantly upon hang-up, improving data accuracy while enabling stronger governance, compliance, and actionable insights. šŸŒ Real-world scenarios Automate record updates and follow-ups, detect and recover from drop-offs, and gain deeper operational insights to optimise customer interactions. Stop treating post-call processes as an afterthought. With the right automation in place, every conversation can drive immediate action and smarter outcomes. • šŸ› Still playing the guessing game with bugs? Stop losing valuable dev time chasing issues that should be easier to solve. With the upgraded Debugger Agent in Visual Studio, debugging becomes a guided, intelligent workflow—turning GitHub Copilot from a chatbot into a real-time problem-solving partner. Here’s how it changes the game: šŸ” No more guesswork — just guided debugging Point the Agent to your issue (via a repo link or a simple prompt like ā€œthe app crashes when saving a fileā€), and it begins analysing your application in context. 🧠 Phase 1: Hypothesis & Preparation The Agent evaluates the issue, proposes a likely root cause, and sets intelligent breakpoints—preparing your app for investigation before you even hit run. āš™ļø Phase 2: Active Reproduction As you reproduce the bug, the Agent stays with you—observing runtime behavior and tracking what’s happening behind the scenes in real time. šŸ“Š Phase 3: Real-time Validation When breakpoints are triggered, it inspects variables and call stacks to validate its hypothesis or rule out possibilities—helping you converge on the real issue faster. āœ… Phase 4: The Fix Once the root cause is identified, the Agent suggests a solution—and with your approval, can apply the fix and validate it immediately. Less hunting. More building. šŸš€ Read the blog to find out more! https://lnkd.in/gvPHYsAm #VisualStudio #GitHubCopilot #Debugging #DeveloperTools #AI #Productivity #SoftwareDevelopment

šŸ¤–Thinking of adopting AI in your organisation? Before jumping into vague AI goals or deploying a general-purpose chatbot that never makes it to production, focus on setting the right constraints, defining clear ambitions, and designing for scale from day one. Here’s how to scale AI successfully: 🧠 Keep humans at the center AI should support—not replace—human decision-making. Keep people in the loop with audit trails, activity logs, and transparent agent behavior to build trust and continuously improve outcomes. āš™ļøStructure your AI landscape Not all AI agents are the same. Distinguish between personal productivity, team-level, and enterprise-wide agents—each requires different levels of governance, oversight, and control. šŸ”Make governance work for you High-performing organisations don’t slow down innovation—they structure it. Clear, governed pathways allow teams to experiment and deploy AI safely, keeping data protected and policies enforced. āš–ļøAct with urgency, scale with purpose The question is no longer why AI matters—but how fast you can implement it responsibly. Success comes down to execution: choosing the right use cases, embedding governance early, and scaling with confidence while keeping humans firmly in control. Meet Service Agent—a declarative agent built within Microsoft Copilot, designed specifically for modern customer service. Here’s what you need to know: šŸ” What is Service Agent? Service Agent brings together the familiarity of Copilot, the depth of Dynamics 365 Customer Service data, and AI-powered agents that can reason, retrieve, and take action. Service professionals can manage cases, access knowledge, and trigger workflows using natural language—without leaving Copilot. ⚔ Why this matters for IT and service leaders No more switching between tools.
