All public holidays are regulated by the Ministry of Finance in Andorra. Each year the Ministry releases a list of the official public holidays that are to be observed. At this time, there are 14 national holidays, an additional three bank holidays, and one three-day regional holiday celebrated in Andorra.

Of the 14 national holidays, only four of these days require all businesses to close in observance of the day. Because Andorra relies so heavily on tourism for its income, most businesses, especially those targeted at tourism, remain open on every other holiday.

The Andorra La Vella Festival is a three day event that takes place each year in June. The government does not recognise this holiday outside of the specific area in which the festival is held.
