Assalamualaikum

Earlier I had worked hard and tried to give my best, and still I got the results that did not reach my expectations. So again, I did the same, working hard, giving my best, but still not getting expected results. So I started doubting myself and my strengths, and when I was going to start it again, my heart was carrying the weight of past experiences. I was worrying about the future even before I started because the past experiences were haunting me and I was the one carrying them, then I came across this ayah and had tawakkul on Al-Qadir, the one capable of everything.

Alhamdulillah, I got up again with a fresh, confident, entrusted mind.

and provide for them from sources they could never imagine. And whoever puts their trust in Allah, then He ˹alone˺ is sufficient for them. Certainly Allah achieves His Will. Allah has already set a destiny for everything. (3)

Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullah, This is a very heartfelt and relatable reflection. The way you described the weight of past experiences and how this ayah helped you rise again with tawakkul is truly powerful. You beautifully connected your personal struggle to the message of the ayah, showing how Allah’s words bring real strength and renewal to the heart. May Allah continue to grant you ease, strengthen your trust in Him, and bless you with outcomes better than what you expect. Ameen.

Perhaps you dislike something which is good for you and like something which is bad for you. Allah knows and you do not know.

Have you ever found yourself asking “Why?” - a question that naturally arises when life takes an unexpected turn.

I remember the moment I didn’t get into university the first time. It caught me off guard, and I didn’t quite know how to process it. There was confusion, disappointment, and a lingering sense of uncertainty. At the time, it felt like a setback.

But Alhamdulillah, it turned out to be o

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ Whenever I recite and reflect on the Qur’an, I truly feel amazed and fascinated by it. Every ayah and every single word contains countless gems, jewels, and diamonds. It feels impossible to fully express their depth in words.

Everything in the Qur’an is connected to our practical life. We can never say that any part of it is not relevant to us. Sometimes it brings tears to my eyes when I realize how many years I spent reciting this miraculous book without understanding it, while such treasures were right in front of me.

How can anyone deny the truth after truly understanding the Qur’an? “ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللّٰهِ.” How could

Rather, address them respectfully. (23) And be humble with them out of mercy, and pray, “My Lord! Be merciful to them as they raised me when I was young.” (24)

It reminds us that no matter how much power or success a human achieves, the true "Kingdom" belongs to God alone. Trust Allah; have Tawakkul

Security: It provides comfort by stating that the world is not chaotic; it is held in the hand of a Creator who is "Blessed."

Purpose: It sets the stage for the next part of the verse, which explains that this King is the one who created life and death to test which of us is best in conduct.

we read this surah before sleeping. If we dive into its meaning, this means that we are leaving everything to Allah , and believing that Allah care way more better than us; we are leaving all our worries problems to him. He is al-Qadeer (The All-Powerful, All-Ca

DOA

A prayer we truly need in every moment…

…when we are tested with difficulties …when we are tested with blessings …when we feel at our lowest …when we reach great heights

AND for those who use social media, this is especially important—so that everything we read, hear or simply passes through every application does not distance us from Allah Taala mercy 🥰

May Allah Taala always protect our faith towards HIM 🤲🏼

We do not live in a reality where events happen without causes, making it impossible to infer anything and forcing us to live like sheep. Rather, we live in a world full of causes and strict laws, and we have been given a mind that enables us to observe these laws, and even use and harness them. Our minds are connected to the universe in a remarkable way, allowing us to perceive that behind this logical coherence lies meaning and wisdom.

If we reflect on the universe and these chains of causes, we arrive at the obvious conclusion that we were not created in vain. "Quran 3:191:...give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly

Not everyone reads the same Book Reading Al-Baqarah through the Hadith that explain it

الم ﴿١﴾
ذَٰلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ ﴿٢
“Alif, Lam, Meem.
This is the Book about which there is no doubt—a guidance for those conscious of Allah.” (2:1–2)

By the time these verses were revealed in Medina,
the Qur’an had already become part of daily life.

It was being recited daily—
in prayer, in gatherings, in teaching. People were listening.
Memorizing. Repeating. And yet, something was becoming quietly clear: Not everyone was receiving it in the same way.

The words were the same.
 But their effect was not.

So the Qur’an itself begins with a distinction: It does no

Amna Urooj Khan Alhamdulillah, I’m really grateful it spoke to you in that way. SubhanAllah, the way you described it is so beautiful. Sometimes it’s not new thoughts, but clarity from Allah that settles what was already within us. May He continue to guide us and make us among those who truly understand.

Imagine a group of people setting out in search of a single destination. Those who know the way reach it with ease, while those who lose their way become scattered, each taking a different path and drifting farther from the goal.

Here, the precision of the this verse comes clear in the verse: “to bring people out of darknesses into the light.” The word “darknesses” is plural (الظلمات ) because the paths of misguidance are many and divided: each lost person has their own darkness, whereas “the light” (النور) is singular because the truth is one, and its path is one: the light of Allah that leads to the straight path. May Allah guide us to the straight path.

Bismillah.

Surah Ibrahim ayat 1

Alif-Lãm-Ra. ˹This is˺ a Book which We have revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ so that you may lead people out of darkness and into light, by the Will of their Lord, to the Path of the Almighty, the Praiseworthy

Looking at the above ayat, we can come to conclude that humanity is in darkness, and today we are witnesses of how its darkness is spreading very fast like a wildfire.

Recently on my way back from work, which is normally around 6/7 pm in the evening, something caught my eye.

I noticed that the same road that I use every morning heading to work is always different in the evening.

During the evening the shops, the restaurants, the gas stations, the apartm
