If you\u2019re anything like me, you love tips that feel simple, comforting, and genuinely helpful. The kind that don\u2019t require a trip to the store or a big change in routine. Just little ideas that quietly make life easier and a bit more budget friendly. If I have to buy a ton of things to do a hack I might as well get the read thing right lol???<\/span><\/p>\n

Today we\u2019re talking about something most of us use every single day\u2026 coffee and tea. I know that the coffee grinds, tea bags and tea leaves add up in my house!!!  Before you toss those used coffee grounds or tea bags into the trash, let\u2019s take a look at how they can still be put to good use around your home and garden. These are real life hacks. Nothing fancy. Nothing complicated. Just smart little ways to stretch what you already have. Note: if you are into the environment simply never through these items into the trash\u2026 if you are not using them for a hack just put them in a waterproof bag and let them add up\u2026 then add them to your soil outdoors. It makes the soil rich and you are recycling right into the earth!<\/span><\/p>\n

Smart Ways to Reuse Used Coffee Grounds<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

1. Naturally deodorize your fridge or trash can<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Let used coffee grounds dry completely and place them in a small open bowl. They help absorb unwanted odors and keep things smelling fresh. Be sure to place that little bowl in a place where it won\u2019t get shoved. Then there is my favorite thing to use\u2026 a glass cheese shaker from the dollar store. Nice and heavy so it does not spill\u2026 glass for easy cleaning and a metal top with holes all ready and waiting to take in those little odors!<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Scrub pots and pans gently<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Coffee grounds are mildly abrasive and work wonderfully on stuck on food. Add a drop of soap and a small spoonful of grinds to a damp sponge and scrub.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Remove cooking smells from hands<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Rub a little coffee grounds on your hands after handling garlic or onions. Rinse well and the smell fades away. It really works!<\/span><\/p>\n

Dry tea bags and tuck them into shoes overnight to absorb odors. Some shoes might need extra tea bags lol!<\/span><\/p>\n
