Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming Thailen, a work experience student, to the team! Despite being the youngest person in the office, he showed real bravery walking into a professional environment and getting involved from day one. During his time with us he: • Gained a Canva Beginner Certification and helped our marketing team create LinkedIn visuals • Sat in with our recruiters to learn how to analyse CVs and understand what makes a strong candidate • Learned how to write professional business emails • Supported the team in gathering data for the DVF Salary Guide • Spent time with our accounts team to understand how finance works in a business • Learnt CV formatting skills and valuable interview tips It’s always great to see young people so eager to learn. We wish him the very best for the future, although he wants to be a pilot, maybe we’ll see him back in recruitment one day! 

Welcome back, Lisa! We’re so happy to have Lisa Harradine back in the office with the team after her maternity leave. She has been hugely missed by everyone. Over the past few months she’s been busy growing her beautiful family and welcoming her second little boy, and we’re absolutely delighted to have her back. Lisa has already settled straight back in and is back leading the Marketing and BD team. Today is Employee Appreciation Day, and we’re incredibly grateful for the brilliant people who make our business what it is. Earlier this week we headed to All Star Lanes in Brick Lane for a team social - an afternoon of bowling, plenty of laughs and a bit of healthy competition. We mixed the teams across different areas of the business, which made it even more fun (and competitive). Huge congratulations to Mitch Puttock who took the crown as overall bowling champion on the night. A good reminder today how lucky we are to have such a fantastic team!

Ahead of International Women’s Day on 8th March, we swapped desks for reformers. We’re proud to invest in the women who power our business. 12 reformers. A private session.
