When it comes to managing our climate risk, we take an integrated approach across water, nature and carbon. Water is our most strategic climate risk as a business and following World Water Day yesterday, we have today published our Climate Transition Plan. This sets out how we are preparing our business for the transition to a low-carbon, climate-resilient future by taking a holistic approach to reach our goals and build our business resilience. As climate risks intensify, it is important to set out how we will reduce emissions, manage climate-related risks, and adapt our business for the years ahead. The plan outlines the actions we’re taking across our operations and value chain – from expanding renewable energy and improving efficiency to rethinking how our products are made, packaged and transported. This is a sweeter, smoother take on the original, and designed to be a more accessible Scotch for non-whisky drinkers.
