Leena Nair shared this“In the greatest strength lies softness.” This was a philosophy in action at the CHANEL J12 Boat Race. Power flowed through rhythm. Resilience through harmony. Nine individuals, moving as one, in each crew. The dual power and grace of the Oxford and Cambridge teams was a testament to the strength, discipline, and leadership that goes into preparing for moments of intense performance. A beautiful display of individual and collective perseverance in every stroke. We are proud to be the Official Timekeeper and long-term Partner of the The Boat Race Company, supporting exceptional talent from two iconic institutions. Well done to all who made this moment extraordinary. Celebrating alongside you was a joy. Frederic Grangie & Elizabeth Anglès d'Auriac

Leena Nair shared thisVisiting Northeast Asia during the arrival of the Year of the Fire Horse was a testament to the region’s spirit of revitalisation and the agility required to lead in the luxury sector today. On my latest visit, I was struck by the energy I saw in our teams, our boutiques, and our client experiences, each embodying the singularity of CHANEL. We are particularly excited by three exceptional locations across Asia: our new Shinsegae Heritage boutique in Seoul, seamlessly blending modernity with the building’s historical elegance, the renovated Lee Gardens boutique in Hong Kong which has achieved LEED Platinum certification and role models our sustainability approach, and Plaza 66, originally opened 24 years ago, has become the first location worldwide to offer the full range of CHANEL services and creations under one roof. We are elevating every step of the client experience, ensuring a memorable and long-term connection through offerings such as Les Salons Privés and Les Ateliers, our specific space for care, repair and alteration, and dynamic new offerings in Fragrance & Beauty boutiques across the region. Beyond our boutiques, we are finding new ways of staying at the heart of culture, leaning into local inspiration such as K-Beauty, listening to new and emerging audiences, and supporting pioneering cultural institutions with Espace Gabrielle Chanel in Shanghai’s Power Station of Art. I also loved spending time with local young talent and am thankful for the richness of our conversations. Asia continues to inspire us to be bolder, more thoughtful, and ever more dedicated to our craft.

Leena Nair shared thisAs we approach International Women's Day, I want to commend every woman pursuing her dreams. The founders, the creators, the ones backing themselves when no one else will. Because the data tells a story we need to change: a 2025 report found only 2.3% of global venture capital went to female-only founding teams. How many brilliant ideas never see the light of day? Everywhere I have travelled and met female founders – on the west coast, in Europe, in Asia, the story remains the same. It is difficult to get ideas backed. One hundred years ago, our founder Gabrielle Chanel, a rare female entrepreneur designed trousers, crossbody bags, the little black dress, so that women could have the freedom to become whoever they wanted to be. This was at a time when women did not even have the right to vote. That audacious spirit is woven into everything we do today. 76% of our people and 57% of our leaders are women. We fund Fondation CHANEL, an independent charity, with $125m annually to enable partners’ work in the vital areas of safety, social and economic autonomy and climate resilience, supporting over 10 million women and girls globally. And last year, our teams volunteered over 33,300 hours, supporting 11,500 people, including mentoring women forging their own path. To everyone who has a big dream, especially the ones that feel too scary, too unconventional, too bold, keep going! The world moves forward because you do.

Leena Nair shared thisLast week Matthieu Blazy's show was testament to the expert craftsmanship, savoir-faire and visionary dream of CHANEL Haute Couture. Haute Couture has always been the soul of our House, showcasing limitless creativity. Gabrielle Chanel first opened her couture house in 1915, and today we are the oldest Haute Couture house in operation. Every piece is meticulously handcrafted to fit the body, made to be worn and lived in, embodying one of a kind creation and experience. It is the magic of shaping fabrics, transforming textiles and inventing intricate details, which transports us to a dream-like world. These moments of beauty, celebrating utmost craft, patience, and commitment, where we feel uplifted and inspired are ever more needed in the world we live in today.

Leena Nair shared thisJanuary in my view, is a month of “Rs”, a moment to renew, reconnect and refresh with a sense of possibility. The world is going through defining times. My hope is that creativity and beauty can continue to be a source of joy to inspire dreams. There are so many exciting upcoming projects this year. A highlight already for me has been our new COCO CRUSH launch which beautifully captures the spirit of joy, light and elegance. The campaign celebrates the art of rediscovery - where every encounter, planned or unexpected, leaves a lasting mark. As we go into 2026, I look forward to reconnecting with our talented people who continue to bring our House and values to life.

Leena Nair shared thisAs we close out 2025, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to all our teams at CHANEL. This year, I've had the joy of meeting so many people, across Europe, the US, and Asia. Everywhere I went, I saw passion, creativity, and genuine care for what we do. What a year it's been. Matthieu Blazy's debut shows captivated audiences worldwide. The Première Galon watch beautifully honoured our couture heritage. And Chance Eau Splendide became the top women's fragrance in many markets around the world. To our retail teams especially: a big thank you. You're the ones who bring our creations to life and make every client experience memorable. As holidays approach, I hope you can take time to celebrate and rest ahead of all the exciting things in 2026.

Leena Nair shared thisIn a world of growing complexity, I am convinced that the next generation will help lead the charge to build a more inclusive, creative, and resilient future. In 2024, more than 4.9 billion people used social media. This rise of interconnectivity can be used to amplify polarisation. But it also has the power to unite us across borders, spark innovation, and deepen our understanding of one another. At CHANEL, I see how meaningful connections bridge geographies, generations, and cultures. Meeting our teams and partners worldwide Rura, Creative Mentor Network, JA Worldwide, especially at One Young World last month, was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we work together.
-
Leena Nair shared thisWhat energy! I was struck by the young leaders at One Young World in Munich last week. Their questions made me reflect, their stories broadened my perspective, and their passion left a real mark on me. From innovative creations to solve societal challenges, to breaking down AI bias and making new technologies more accessible, the next generation are already changing our world. I left feeling deeply encouraged by the creativity and optimism of young people from every continent. As I said in my speech, progress can’t be made on fear, it can only be made on hope. Thank you David Jones, Kate Robertson, and everyone who made the event such a success. The full speech is available to watch on YouTube (link in comments).

Leena Nair shared thisIn today’s fast-changing world, agility and steadfast values are more important than ever. I had the privilege of discussing these themes with Baroness Dambisa Moyo at The Economic Club of New York last month. Together, we explored how to lead through transformation, maintain human connection as AI evolves, and continually embrace what’s next. My sincere thanks for this thought-provoking and inspiring exchange.

Leena Nair reacted on thisLeena Nair reacted on thisA true London moment — marking time far beyond the Thames. Proud to celebrate the partnership between CHANEL J12 and The Boat Race — where heritage, precision, and performance meet on the Thames. Along the banks of the Thames, thousands gathered — families, students, visitors from around the world — all united by the simple joy of witnessing something exceptional, whilst millions more followed the race as it was broadcast internationally. Oxford vs Cambridge: a rivalry steeped in history yet defined by something deeply human. These are not professional athletes, but remarkable individuals balancing rigorous academic pursuit with extraordinary physical discipline. Their commitment is matched only by their humility. At CHANEL, we are continually inspired by this intersection of excellence and authenticity. The J12 watch reflects this spirit — a symbol of precision, endurance, and timeless elegance. Have you ever considered that your leadership skills could be cultivated right from your own doorstep? Embark on your leadership journey starting from the familiar setting of your home. While you may not be delivering presentations in a boardroom during breakfast, the daily tasks you undertake offer valuable management insights. Each morning, as I navigate the hustle of preparing my children for the day, I am reminded that my family is akin to my primary team. Reflect on this: the family dinners you organize resemble project meetings, and every resolved argument serves as a lesson in conflict management. We exhibit leadership qualities even in moments when we are unaware of it. 🔑 Key Lesson from Home #1: Time Management Similar to how a leader coordinates team schedules, effective time management in your daily schedule is crucial. Are you juggling everyone's requirements while still prioritizing self-care? Consider the following: 1. Prioritize Tasks: Identify your top three daily objectives—apply this strategy at work to enhance productivity. 2. Set Boundaries: Just as you designate family time, safeguard your work-life equilibrium by establishing clear boundaries. 🗣️ Key Lesson from Home #2: Open Communication Within my family, open dialogues play a pivotal role. They nurture relationships and cultivate trust. Drawing parallels to professional settings, a leader who values transparency encourages creativity and innovation. Implement the following practices in your workplace: 1. Foster Open Communication Channels: Initiate group discussions or implement a suggestion system to facilitate idea sharing among team members. 2. Embrace Family Gathering Formats: Utilize them to lead inclusive meetings where everyone can contribute. 💡 In essence, transform your everyday routines into a leadership masterclass! Your responsibilities at home seamlessly translate into effective managerial skills. Now, I pose a question to you—what is the most unexpected management lesson you have gleaned from your domestic routines

World Healing Day and the Rising Role of AI Today, the last Saturday of April, marks #WorldHealingDay – a time for focusing on personal and global healing. This tradition, rooted in spiritual and emotional wellness since the 1990s, now intersects profoundly with our digital lives. This focus on well-being, originally personal, has permeated the business world where employee wellness is rightly linked to fast pace, innovation, workload and productivity. Intriguingly, this emphasis is powerfully reflected in how we're starting to use emerging technologies. Looking at recent research by Marc Zao-Sanders, analyzing evolving generative AI use trends for #HarvardBusinessReview illustrated in the graph below (based on thousands of forum posts over the past year), a significant shift emerges for 2025: 'Therapy & Companionship' has climbed to the #1 spot (up from #2 in 2024). This speaks volumes about our collective search for emotional support and connection, increasingly turning to AI. This rapid rise might reflect a growing societal comfort with AI, coupled with an increasing need for accessible mental and emotional support tools in our fast-paced lives. The research highlights other wellness-oriented uses gaining prominence too: 'Organize Life' debuted as a new category at #2 ‘Find Purpose' entered the top 3 as a new entry 'Healthy Living' impressively surged 65 positions to #10 As someone leading People initiatives and human-centric transformations, this convergence is key. The tools we build must serve fundamental human needs. The data clearly shows a growing desire for technological assistance not just for task efficiency, but for cultivating meaning, purpose, and emotional health. Does this data surprise you, or does it align with trends you've noticed in how people are seeking support and meaning today? #WorldHealingDay #GenerativeAI #FutureOfWork #HR #People #PeopleandCulture #Peopleatheart #HumanCentricTransformation #WellnessAtWork #AI2025"

Over 70% of large organizations today operate across multiple countries, making global teams the norm rather than the exception. As organizations expand across borders, leaders are required to navigate far more than markets and metrics. They must understand people, cultures, and the climates they create at work — often shaping outcomes in ways that numbers alone cannot capture. The HR Climate of the World brings together these reflections.

Excited to share my latest Forbes Human Resources Council article on why only Inspiration or Aspiration can build Feel Good Leadership unless it's backed by solid actions. #𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 can energize a moment — we get inspired by stories or individuals but then what? #𝐀𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 can remain a wish, hope, desire — unless it motivates us to act. #Leadership_impact lies in what happens between the two. Curious — when were you inspired last time but it remained there silently OR what Aspiration is still unfinished? What needs your intention and attention both? https://hubs.li/Q045P33f0

When it comes to AI success, 'I still feel 75% is human. 25% is the process of implementing AI.' This was the opinion recently shared with me by Neha Sharma Hussain, Vice President at Apparel Group leading Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Charles&Keith and Pedro across the Middle East. Neha is driving AI and automation at scale across some of the world's most recognised fashion brands. And yet the more she discovers about transformation, the more she keeps arriving at the same place: it starts from the human mindset. As she puts it, you cannot drive change by sharing great technologies or how things are going to change. You have to have human connection first. You need to tell people 'where this big ship is heading. You need to tell them what they get.' And if the leader is not really focused on building that connection, the people implementing it are not going to create the impact you’ve been hoping for. I couldn’t agree more. This is what I see again and again in my work with leadership teams. The organisations successfully integrating AI are not the ones with the best systems. They are the ones whose leaders understand that the people at the centre of the change need to feel seen, heard, and brought along. Technology scales cognition, but it does not scale connection. And without connection, even the most brilliant transformation will stall. Where are you seeing this play out in your organisation right now? ____________________________________________________________ Hi, I’m Kate King. I support leaders to make a Human Upgrade in the Age of AI by connecting with their Highest Selves to lead with wisdom, aligned power, and soul. 👉 Follow me for insights on how to evolve as a leader to keep the pace of your growth aligned with the pace of the future. #HighestYou #Leadership #TeamCulture #HumanConnection #FutureOfWork #KateKing

Day 13 of 30 Days of Intentional Leadership Challenge: Leading with Accountability. Throughout my career, I have encountered many leadership styles but traditional leadership remains the most dominant. It thrives on structure: authority at the top, decisions flowing down and expectations clearly defined. It’s strength is in clarity and everyone knows who is in charge. But here’s the catch: In many of these environments, accountability is optional at the top and expected at the bottom. And when leaders avoid responsibility, culture begins to erode. Quietly but powerfully. I have seen organizations invest in the HR teams to “fix the culture.” TGIFs. Town halls. Campaigns. But, no HR initiative can-can correct what leadership refuses to confront. Culture is not a department’s responsibility. It is shaped, reinforced, and either strengthened or weakened by the everyday choices of those at the top. As a leader, if I choose to deflect blame, hide mistakes or operate with double standards disguised as discretionary effort, I am sending a silent but clear message: “ Accountability is for others, not for me.” Today, I am reminding myself as well as all leaders who desire to lead with influence. Accountability is not a threat to leadership, it is the foundation of trust. And, trust is what cultures are built on. When leaders take responsibility with humility, transparency, and courage, we model what we expect. Do we expect initiative? Then we must model empowerment. Do we expect excellence? Then we must model discipline. Do we expect growth? Then we must model coachability. Do we expect trust? Then we must model transparency. Do we expect loyalty? Then we must integrity. Do we expect honesty? Then we must model vulnerability. Do we expect ownership? Then we must model accountability. Anchor Scripture: “Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct.” Galatians 6:4-5. NLT Father in the name of Jesus, I thank You for renewing my mind daily by Your word. I thank You for showing me that You are my perfect model for a life of true influence and lasting impact. Help me oh Lord to be the change I desire in others and to lead through actions and impact, not just by words and instructions. In Jesus Name, I pray Amen. #TheWomanOfInfluence #30DaysLeadershipChallenge #Day13LeadingWithAccountability #KingdomWorkEthics #ChristianLeadership

https://lnkd.in/gpUJwrdJ There’s been a lot of talk about fashion CEOs moving roles. But the real shift isn’t in the boardroom—it’s on the shop floor and on Gen Z’s screens. This generation isn’t difficult. They’re decisive. They know what they want, how fast they want it, and what they stand for. As CEOs, we’re no longer building just for consumers—we’re building with them. The old playbook of brand legacy, large-format retail, and seasonal thinking is being replaced by agility, authenticity, and constant dialogue. And this change isn’t a threat. It’s a timely nudge. The question we should ask ourselves is this: Are we leading through structures we inherited, or are we willing to rewrite them? At our company, we’re leaning into co-creation, faster cycles, and data that reads like emotion. We’re placing Gen Z not just as a target group, but as a design voice across the business. This isn’t about chasing trends. It’s about staying relevant—culturally, digitally, and meaningfully. Leadership today isn’t about knowing all the answers. It’s about staying deeply curious, listening harder, and acting faster. The future of fashion will be led by those who are brave enough to unlearn—and bold enough to rebuild. The Paradox of Soft Power: Gentle Leaders, Gritty Impact In most boardrooms, power is often mistaken for projection. Commanding voice. Dominating presence. Quick decisions. And yet — some of the most transformative leaders have led with the quietest tone. Think of Ratan Tata. He wasn’t loud. He wasn’t aggressive. He didn’t need to be. He led with grace, restraint, and integrity — and still built one of India’s most respected global conglomerates. In a world obsessed with charisma, he showed us the enduring force of character. This is the paradox of soft power: • You’re heard not because you shout, but because you don’t. • You move people not through fear, but through belief. • And while the world sees stillness, underneath lies unwavering resolve. Soft is not weak. Gentle is not passive. Still is not stagnant. Let’s not confuse decibels with direction. Power doesn’t always need a podium. Sometimes, it just needs a spine. #ParadoxSeries #Leadership #RatanTata #SoftPower #BoardroomTruths #GentleGrit

Women’s Day is often celebrated through appreciation and that matters. But for me, it’s also a moment to reflect on the kind of workplace we are building every day. Are we creating spaces where women feel heard, not just included? Are we enabling growth, not just participation? Are we building systems that support, not just celebrate? At NowPurchase, this journey is ongoing—and it requires conscious effort, everyday actions, and collective accountability. Grateful to our leadership, especially Naman Shah, for consistently driving and reinforcing this culture. #WomensDay #PeopleFirst #WorkplaceCulture #Inclusion

Most leaders still operate in the “Me” era of leadership. Power. Authority. Expertise. Directing. Controlling. Deciding. And for a long time… that worked. But leadership is evolving. The best organisations today are moving beyond individual-focused leadership toward team-focused leadership — where leaders coach, empower, and build trust rather than simply command. And the most progressive organisations are going even further. They are embracing culture-focused leadership. This is where leaders stop being the centre of everything and instead focus on building systems where people thrive. It means: • Sharing information transparently • Creating psychological safety • Inviting challenge and diverse thinking • Admitting mistakes • Prioritising learning and wellbeing Leadership evolution looks like this: Me → Us → The System The real question for leaders today is not: “How do I lead better?” It’s: “What environment am I creating for others to succeed?” Because in modern organisations, culture — not authority — is the real leadership advantage. #Leadership #OrganizationalCulture #FutureOfWork #LeadershipDevelopment #Management

Freedom gave us a flag. Productivity must now give it strength. Moral courage won us a nation; economic discipline must secure its future. In an age where trade is strategy and efficiency is power, those who build, innovate, and compete shape the rules — not suffer them. Sovereignty today is forged in factories, measured in value added, and defended through competitiveness. #EconomicStrength #IndiaGrowth #Manufacturing #NationBuilding

Ex-BESTSELLER Sandeep Malik Goes to Drunken Monkey. A retail veteran with 25+ years across fashion, footwear and lifestyle, Sandeep Malik brings deep expertise in P&L leadership, brand launches, omnichannel execution and large-scale retail operations to a new arena — stepping into food & beverage as CEO & Director at Drunken Monkey. After nearly 12 years at Bestseller India, where he scaled emerging brands and played a key role in launching Vero Moda Girl from concept to 200+ shop-in-shop doors within a year, Sandeep now carries his retail systems thinking into #QSR — with a sharp focus on disciplined growth, strong unit economics, franchise excellence and repeat-led consumer experience. Drunken Monkey, known for its fresh smoothies, youthful energy and fast-growing café footprint, is at a defining inflection point — expanding across India, establishing a presence in the Middle East, and sharpening its ambition to scale with consistency and brand clarity. From fashion floors to smoothie counters — this is retail thinking meeting QSR momentum. What makes this move interesting is not just the category shift, but how retail discipline, consumer insight and execution rigour are increasingly shaping the future of food brands. This video captures a leadership and team-building intervention delivered by Neemann Consulting for one of India’s most respected jewellery brands. At Neemann Consulting, we believe trust, alignment, and motivation cannot be taught — they must be experienced. In this activity, one team member moves forward without visibility, while the rest of the team becomes their direction and strength. That is how high-performing organizations function. Through structured training and motivation-led interventions, Neemann Consulting focuses on: ✔ Building trust before targets ✔ Strengthening teamwork under pressure ✔ Converting manpower into a unified, execution-ready force For legacy brands and fast-growing organizations alike, people development is not optional — it is strategic. Proud to represent Neemann Consulting in strengthening teams that reflect excellence in Indian retail and jewellery leadership. #NeemannConsulting #LeadershipDevelopment #TrainingInAction #JewelleryIndustry #TeamMotivation #TrustBasedLeadership #PeopleStrength
