Welcome to Minidebcamp Kochi. 4 days on an Island fixing things in Debian Project. Contributors and users join us and engage in technical discussions, sprints, and bug squashing parties. In 2025, we did a Bug Squashing Party and it was quite fun and interesting. We managed to close ~45 bugs. So this year again, we are planning for another one. Since BSPs are very goal focused (or the name say so) we felt people were reluctant to show up.
This time we are planning for a DebCamp. Attendees can work on their things or join with others. Be it BSP, discussions anything can be ontopic™.

Venue & How to reach
Minidebcamp takes place at Bolgatty Palace and Island Resort, which is located in Mulavukadu/Bolgatty Island.
Both ERS (Ernakulam South) & ERN(Ernakulam Town) are major railway stations and are very close by. COK (Cochin International Airport) CIAL. is the major airport in the Kochi. Nearest metro rail station is MG Road station. Bolgatty island had a water metro station from mainland and other island. But it is closed now.
- If you are coming via COK Airport. Head to airport feeder bus point to board. They usually ply in every 20mins. The bus will drop you at Aluva metro railway station. Use metro from there and de-board at MG road metro station. From here you have three options to reach the venue as it is the last mile connection.
Get another feeder bus from there and de-board at High Court junction and then get an auto rickshaw to reach the venue. (recommended). You will able to see city a bit with this method.
If you are already tired at this point, get a auto rickshaw directly to venue.
If you have no luggage, you can get a rent bicycle with mybyk. (You need to have their app )
- If you are coming via train,
Get down at either ERS or ERN railway stations
If ERS, you can get feeder bus till High court Junction and catch either auto rickshaw, or bicycle from there to venue. You can also walk from there to venue also. Its one of the prime walkable spot in Kochi with backwaters and tall residential buildings on side.
If ERN, you can get direct auto rickshaw from the station to venue.
Accommodation
Accommodation + 3 meals per day is planned at the venue itself.
