Gaining administrator access to company blog

  We recently found this old blog site for our company. We were able to find someone who had access to the account but they are not the administrator. Ideally we want this site to be deleted. How could I get this account elevated to administrator so that I can delete this site?

  Hi @justiniusmann, If the user has lost admin access, you can refer to this helpful topic (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/admin-access-lost/)to gain the admin access and then follow the steps provided here/plugin info page (https://wordpress.org/plugins/delete-own-admin-account/) to delete the account. Let me know if this goes.

  @aazam0067 you are referring to the wordpress.org website which has nothing to do with the wordpress.com platform!
