Add purchaser to GerResponse list after purchase complete?
-
Curious with the plugin if there is any way to add the customer to a GetRsponse list for the product in question, once their purchase is complete?
-
Thank you for reaching out to us. Can you provide an example of what you require? I want to make sure I understand your question correctly.
Thank you.
In my ideal world the process would be this:
(1) They click the button to purchase and the form collects Name and Email along with Credit Card info for the purchase.
(2) Stripe processes the purchase and then redirects to the Thank You page for the product if the purchase was completed.
(3) Once the purchase is confirmed by Stripe, the info originally collected in the form is used to add the person to my product’s purchasers list in GetResponse, so the appropriate Welcome and any additional autoresponders I desire can run from there.
Thank you for providing more information. I assume the following is the plugin you mean?

If it is, unfortunately we don’t have an integration with the GetResponse plugin/ service. We do however have integrations with the following services.
I am not sure if this helps you or not.

We also have the following addon, that allows admin to customize messages sent to specific customers.

Yes I’m aware of Woo and other plugins that integrate with Stripe. I’m attracted to yours because of its inherent simplicity. Often I find less is more. 🙂
Any reason you’ve integrated with all these other email providers and not GetResponse? It is one of the major players, and a direct competitor to the ones you’ve already integrated with.

I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your request.
Kind regards.
Originally, we had many users actively using our autoresponder integrations. However, over time, we’ve found that most popular autoresponder services now offer direct integration with Stripe. This allows users to automatically send customer details to their autoresponder directly from Stripe after a transaction—making our addon less necessary than it once was.
Additionally, many autoresponder platforms frequently change their APIs, which makes it difficult for our small team to maintain stable integrations for a very limited number of users. Our main focus is on Stripe and the core payment functionality.
That said, we do offer action hooks that can be used to integrate with any autoresponder if needed. You can use the following hook to trigger any custom action after a payment is completed:

We will work on creating an example code snippet for GetResponse and will share it here once it’s ready.
Thanks for all the extra info you’ve provided. I will check out these additional resources. 🙂
I’ll close this one off for now.
I just wanted to share the following example code we created to demonstrate how customers can be added to GetResponse:
