• Hi there!

I’m using Authorizer in several internal websites at work, all of them with LDAP credentials to authenticate users.

Following our password policy, the passwords for the LDAP accounts where updated, but since then users can only access WordPress using the old password.

How can I update those credentials to use the new password?

    Thanks in advance

Huh, that’s strange! Authorizer should pass through authentication attempts to the LDAP server, so it sounds like perhaps the passwords didn’t get updated on the specific LDAP server Authorizer is communicating with.

Can you check your LDAP config (Authorizer Settings > External Service > LDAP) and confirm it’s the correct server with the passwords updated? There is also an “LDAP test connection” field on that page where you can test a username/password login, and it will give you debug info that might help narrow down where the problem is.

    Hi! Thanks for the answer!

It seems for now a problem in our LDAP server. Once we solve it, I’ll return here with a solution.
