Retractable banners

A retractable banner is a type of display banner that comes with a base or a stand (typically made of aluminum), which the sign pulls up from or retracts into. Due to their size, simple setup, and compact storage, retractable banners are commonly used in events that draw in large crowds, such as conventions, trade shows, conferences, job fairs, and the like.

Retractable banners can be used to convey pretty much any kind of message, but they’re often used to build brand awareness, signal the launch of new products or services, advertise sales promos and special offers, and provide quick access to one’s business information.

Retractable banners, pull up banners, and pop up banners are all essentially the same thing. These terms are used interchangeably to describe display banners that pop up from a metal base, and that are used for events, farmers markets, etc.

The most common retractable banner size is 33.5 × 78.55 inches or 85 × 200 cm. This gives you just enough space for a well-balanced design. It also isn’t too large to distract from or get in the way of other elements in your booth.

Note that this is the most common size for floor banners. Tabletop retractable banners, on the other hand, go anywhere from 8.5 × 11.875 inches to 15.75 × 32.125 inches.
