Spring has officially sprung, my friends! And you know what that means? A new wreath to adorn my front door. Create a whimsical fairy habitat to welcome spring! This Fairy Garden Wreath will impress any guest!

Materials needed for Fairy Garden Wreath

You can find all of these supplies at Hobby Lobby!

You’ll notice the metal tire hanger and the large foam wreath are roughly the same size. We are going to cut down the foam wreath to use to place our fairy garden.

Cut your foam wreath into thirds.

You will use two of these. You can set the other third aside to use in another project or throw away. It’s up to you.

Peel away one side of the strip and place sticky side down on the back of the arch of the wreath.

Peel away the remaining side and adhere to the inside of the metal tire hanger. This will hold the foam in place so it does not slide around inside the tire.

Take the moss mat out of the package and unfold. Lay over the top of the foam inside the tire. Trim the excess on the back side of the tire and the inside edges. Leave the front moss uneven and flowing down the front of the tire.

Begin adding your fairy garden characters and setting. Some of the items I chose are picks so they stick right into the foam. Others will require you to hot glue into place.

Once you have your scene arranged how you want it, begin hot gluing the scrapbook flowers on your bed of moss.

Wrap your LED string of lights around the metal tire. I pulled mine through the middle at random points so it looks like a garden party. You can tuck the battery pack in the side under some moss.

Finally, hot glue your dragonflies to the outside edge of the metal tire.
