  • The shift from AI experimentation to global deployment has hit a major roadblock: the centralized infrastructure bottleneck. In 2026, raw performance is no longer enough to sustain a competitive advantage. For revenue-critical GPU workloads — like real-time AI inference and media processing — success now depends on three pillars: reliability, resiliency, and geographic distribution. Our latest on-demand session features Akamai Field CTO Joseph Glover, who breaks down the engineering required to support “always-on” GPU availability. We explore how to move applications from fragile pilots to robust, global production environments without sacrificing speed or risking outages. If you’re architecting for the next generation of cloud computing, this is a must-watch. Watch the on-demand session today: https://ow.ly/cYNX50YLlAX

  • Attackers move laterally faster than your team can respond. The problem isn’t just visibility, it’s also speed and confidence. Akamai Guardicore Segmentation uses AI to analyze application behavior and generate enforcement-ready policies, so you can move from uncertainty to proof-driven security and reduce risk at scale. • If your AI takes seconds to respond, it’s already too late. Real-time AI requires immediate responses that centralized data centers cannot provide. High latency often degrades the user experience for applications like speech recognition and personalization. That’s why we launched the first global implementation of NVIDIA AI Grid to act as a real-time broker for AI requests. This system optimizes for "tokenomics" by balancing cost, throughput, and speed. Routing requests by intent and location enables a target latency of 10 to 20ms. Expanding to 100 GPU locations this year ensures inference happens where it matters most: close to the user. • After warming up, the #AkamaiSwitzerland team took a refreshing dip in the cool waters of Lake Zug, and even with the sun out, it definitely woke everyone up! Then everyone ran straight into the sauna. 🏃🏻 Huge thanks to Will Law for the incredible hospitality. Fresh, homemade pizzas straight from the wood-fired oven were the perfect reward, and we wrapped up the evening with a fun game of pool! 🎱 Great people, great vibes, and a memorable night all around, safe to say this won’t be the last sauna event.
