Iceberg Summit is only 3 weeks away (April 8-9) in San Francisco and we've seen a flood of our speakers posting about their awesome content. Petabyte-scale production war stories, V3/V4 deep dives, implementations in Rust and C++, Flink and Kafka integrations, production debugging nightmares, and of course how lakehouses are actually being built for production. With 70+ sessions and speakers from Apple, Microsoft, Pinterest, Bloomberg, Wells Fargo, Databricks, and more, there's no shortage of content. Their decks are probably already finished and now just being polished for the big day ... because we know software folk are always well prepared and on time. Speaking of being well prepared, if you haven't registered to join us, this is the time. Last year we sold out and had to turn folks away. We can only imagine how disappointed someone might be if they miss their opportunity to talk about table formats for about 16 hours over two days! Don't let that happen to you, register today! PS. There's also a book signing featuring some of your favorite lakehouse and open source authors. Because apparently this community doesn’t just write code, we write books too. https://lnkd.in/gdf32zj2

The Apache Iceberg Community would like to remind you that Iceberg Summit 2026 is coming up April 8-9 in San Francisco! This year's event spans two full days with 70+ sessions, hands-on workshops, and a lot of the folks who are building and running Iceberg in production. Have a PR or new feature for Iceberg you want to land? You’ll be able to track down PMC members and committers and pitch your idea directly! (Of course you’ll still have to make your case on the mailing list but a little direct feedback never hurt.) If you're working with Iceberg or even just Iceberg-curious, it's worth the trip. You'll get to talk directly with core maintainers, hear real war stories from teams running this at scale, and be part of the conversations shaping where Iceberg goes next (V4 is coming!). Virtual passes are free if you can't make it out, but if you can, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘁𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟲! Book your rooms now at: https://lnkd.in/ee7-Fm6B Register for summit at https://lnkd.in/gdf32zj2
