Our Spring Construction Series continues in Colorado 🌄 Located just outside #Denver, Avalon Parker is taking shape, with the clubhouse now coming into view against that iconic mountain backdrop. What’s open space today will soon transform into pocket parks and a larger community park with gathering areas throughout. Construction is officially underway on amenity updates at Avalon Potomac Yard, and our Capital Projects and Design teams kicked things off in a hands-on way—swinging hammers and taking part in the demolition. 🔨 Residents can look forward to refreshed lobby, lounge, pool, and courtyard spaces, and our corporate team was proud to roll up their sleeves and be part of the progress.

Another behind-the-scenes construction look! ✨ This time, our #NorthCarolina team toured Avalon Carmel Commons, one of our newest communities in the region—now officially pre-leasing! Exciting progress has been made on the amenities, and we can’t wait to welcome our first residents later this summer. 🏡☀️

Volunteering is one of the ways our associates put #AVBSpiritofCaring into action—showing up for their neighbors, strengthening communities, and making a meaningful impact together. In recognition of #NationalVolunteerMonth this April, here’s a look at a few of the ways teams across AVB have been giving back so far this year: 🍊 Orange County & San Diego teams partnered with Feeding San Diego and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County to help improve food stability in their local communities. 🪴 The San Antonio centralized team rolled up their sleeves for some Easter crafting fun with Respite Care of San Antonio, a group dedicated to creating safe, nurturing spaces for kids with special needs and complex medical concerns. 🏃♀️ The Florida team sponsored the Feeding South Florida® 5K in Miami, raising funds and awareness for families facing hunger. 🌿 Pacific Northwest teams rolled up their sleeves to spruce up community spaces in the Chinatown–International District and Danny Woo Garden. 🛍️ In New York & New Jersey, 315 associates assembled hundreds of Love, Hope & Joy bags and feminine hygiene kits to support New Destiny Housing Corporation. Thank you to our associates who donate their time to make a difference. 👏
