Great collaboration starts with perspective. The ability to step outside your own view and understand how someone else sees the problem. Here’s what perspective-taking looks like at work: 1️⃣ Listening to understand, not respond You seek context before forming conclusions. 2️⃣ Adjusting how you communicate Different people need different levels of detail, tone, and framing. 3️⃣ Reducing friction before it escalates Misalignment shrinks when people feel seen and understood. Perspective-taking is about clarity, trust, and progress. ✨ Save this post and practice it in your next collaboration—it quietly changes everything.

Meet Muskaan, a marketing consultant making a bold shift into data and AI. With a background in mass media, she’s always leaned into creativity. But early in her career, she realized: “Creativity needs logic too. If I’m building a campaign, I need to understand the numbers behind it.” That insight sparked her shift. While working in marketing, she began exploring tools like Excel. “I wasn’t deeply into data science at first,” she says, “but I started experimenting—and that’s when things clicked.” So she took the next step–building skills in data and AI with BITS Pilani Digital—alongside a full-time job. Her routine is intense but intentional: early mornings, full workdays, and evening classes. What made it work? Flexibility. “It is manageable. Just a couple of focused hours can make a big difference.” Today, Muskaan is blending creativity with data-driven thinking–proving that a career switch isn’t about starting over, it’s about leveling up the skills that make you stand out.
