📢 Last night, Dungarvin's own CEO Lori Kress provided the President's Address at this year's ANCOR Connect '26 conference in Boston, MA. Since 2019, Lori has been on the ANCOR Board of Directors and is now in her final year as Chair of the Board. Tonight she shared some personal insight from her time advocating for the direct support industry. She welcomed 1,556 registered attendees (new record!) on the first night of the conference, including 90 DSPs (#DirectSupportProfessionals) from across the country. She asked us to remember the dark and stormy nights we have had to endure grappling with the devastating realities of more than $1 Trillion in #Medicaid budget cuts. But she reminded us to have faith, that we will weather the storm, because our actions in reaching out to Congress are beginning to have an effect helping others to recognize the immense value of Medicaid -- why we need the program and why we should NOT gut it! While there is much still to do, our collective engagement is being noticed by legislators and policy makers, helping them understand that the services and supports we provide to those who need them are lifesaving. Take 30 seconds now to add your name to a pre-written message to Congress asking them to protect Medicaid from further cuts: https://lnkd.in/eWpJte97 Wow...and that is only Day 1!? Stay tuned for more learnings and inspirations in the days ahead. #CreateCommunity

In April, the world celebrates #AutismAcceptanceMonth to acknowledge and honor the identities of people on the autism spectrum. “We believe people with autism, no matter where they are on the spectrum, deserve opportunities to live a full and complete life in their communities,” said Dungarvin Minnesota State Director Nat Graf.
